  • His Facebook remains active as of Monday morning

Far-left activist Shaun King has been banned from Instagram for his pro-Palestinian posts, he claimed in a statement accusing Israel of genocide.

King, who has been repeatedly accused of fraud and lying about his identity, shared a video on the account of Gaza photographer Wissam Nassar on Monday, claiming he had been banned from the platform for his posts on the war between Hamas and Israel.

“First and foremost, I'm safe and I've been through much tougher times than being banned from Instagram. I've been through hard times. These are not difficult times. Gaza is going through difficult times right now,” he said.

“What is clear is that Meta, Facebook and Instagram have decided to stand in the way of those of us who fight for the human rights and dignity of Palestinians. I'm not going to stand for it, I'll keep fighting wherever I can.'

King's Facebook account was still active Monday morning.

DailyMail.com has contacted Instagram for comment on this story.

The activist, known as one of the loudest voices behind the Black Lives Matter movement, had 5.6 million followers on Instagram, where he strongly criticized Israel and the US following the October 7 terrorist attacks against the Jewish nation.

He has repeatedly portrayed the resulting war as a genocide against the Palestinians by Israel, financed by the US government.

“I am frustrated that Instagram has banned me for fighting for Palestine and standing up for the human rights and dignity of Palestinians, but I refuse to betray my values and principles by remaining silent about this genocide and the war crimes in Gaza and the West Bank. he added on Monday about the social media ban.

'You can NEVER mince your words about genocide. You can never mince your words about war crimes. You MUST speak truth to power in every way you know how.

'Please promise me that you will now go harder for Palestine than ever before. OK?'

King has a history of stretching the truth, even with those he claims to help. He has in the past used donor funds to purchase an award-winning show dog, which he later returned because he had “a little too much energy.”

At the time, he claimed he needed the expensive watchdog for 24/7 security for his family due to the barrage of threats from white supremacists, who he claims have tried to break into his home and molest his children.

He has also been accused of fraud on several occasions, including by the mother of Tamir Rice — a 12-year-old Ohio boy who was killed by Cleveland police — who claims he held unauthorized fundraisers in her son's name.

King has been battling fraud allegations for years but has not been formally charged with any wrongdoing in connection with Grassroots, which he founded to help put progressive elected officials in office.

Most infamously, he was accused of lying about being the victim of a horrific hate crime in his youth due to his race, allegedly falsifying his race to take advantage of an Oprah Winfrey scholarship.
