Ike wrote on the social media platform: 'My beautiful, beautiful daughter Kerry passed away today in hospital on the Isle of Wight after a stoic battle with a long illness. She was only 48.

'She left this world surrounded by her family and her fantastic boyfriend Ede, who took excellent care of her until the end. Kerry leaves behind two teenage children and a family that loved her so much.”

He continued, β€œShe was a one-off, a fiercely independent, outspoken, unique expression of All That Is, and there will never be another quite the same.

β€œWe know that she is just a heartbeat away, a frequency vibration, and that she will still be with us until we meet again in another realm beyond this crazy reality that she saw through with laser focus.

β€œWe are all so proud of you, my love, our Divine Spark. Never forget that. We will never forget you.'

Kerry's younger brother Gareth, who presents 'alternative' current affairs programs online with brother Jaymie, added: 'Today my big sister Kerry passed away after a battle with illness. She was always stubborn and did things her own way, and she kept this to herself for over a year.

'We were so close in our younger years, but unfortunately life, parenthood and geographical distance kept us from seeing each other as often as we should have done lately.

β€œMe and my brother raced down today and managed to get there and ended up holding her hand, along with all her immediate family. I will miss her terribly, but I know this isn't forever, just for now.

β€œI'm sure there will be kind messages underneath this post, so I'd like to apologize in advance for my lack of acknowledgment. They are appreciated by all of us, but I still need to pay attention to them.

'I hope you understand it. Until next time, Whiz. X.'

Jaymie shared a photo of himself with his sister his own post, writing: 'Good night big sister. I love you. See you one day. XXX'

Fans left hundreds of comments under Ickes' posts, expressing their condolences.

One said: 'Sorry for your loss David, sending positive energy your way…'

Another wrote: 'This is so sad, David. Our condolences to you and your family for this terrible loss. When I see this kind of sad news, I feel like I have a hole in my heart too.

'We are together on many levels, everyone on earth is family and shares a connection. You have emphasized this many times. I wish the best to everyone affected by her death.”

'RIP Kerry' started trending on X in Britain in the hours after the family shared their tribute.

Icke rose to fame as a conspiracy theorist who made bizarre claims that world leaders are 'reptiles' disguised as humans.

He had shown promising results as a young footballer before developing rheumatoid arthritis at a young age. This led him to explore alternative medicine, which developed into a career-producing interest in the occult.

However, some of his conspiracy theories have been criticized for being anti-Semitic, and Icke has self-published his own books since the mid-1990s.

He was banned from YouTube and a number of social media platforms in 2020 after making bizarre claims linking Jewish people to the coronavirus pandemic and the introduction of 5G mobile phone networks.

He later returned to Twitter after it was taken over by businessman Elon Musk – who has also allowed a number of other conspiracy theorists, including Alex Jones, and figures associated with the far right, back onto the website under his leadership.

Icke was also banned by the Dutch government in 2022 from entering 26 countries in the EU's Schengen travel zone for two years.

Dutch immigration authorities say in a letter that Icke published on his website that “there are concrete indications that your arrival in the Netherlands poses a threat to public order.”

Born in 1975, Kerry was Icke's first child with first wife Linda Atherton, followed by sons Gareth and Jaymie.

Icke later had another daughter with Mari Shawsun, a Canadian who came to live with the Ickes on the Isle of Wight.
