A conspiracy theorist has arrived in court surrounded by supporters after he allegedly stalked and harassed a 2GB worker because he was denied an interview on Ben Fordham’s Breakfast Show.
David Graham, a ‘sovereign citizen’ who calls himself a ‘Guru’, was arrested in Wollongong, south of Sydney, on Friday after allegedly intimidating a radio worker.
Daily Mail Australia understands the charges relate to Graham allegedly repeatedly harassing a 2GB staff member over the phone on January 30 after being denied a spot on Fordham’s primetime show.
The concrete mixer was arrested after police searched his boat, which is also his home, in the Wollongong harbor, and the officers also allegedly found drugs.
Graham walked into Wollongong Local Court on Thursday to face charges, packed with more than a dozen supporters.

While denied a spot on The Ben Fordham Show, Graham had a brief stint on The Show John Laws, who called him a “conspiratorial” and a “clown.”
In late January, Graham told his supporters that Fordham would interview him at 5:45 a.m. the next morning, but no agreement was reached.
If the interview did not take place for any reason, Graham told his followers to call and email 2GB demanding they put it on the air.
But not only did it not air, Fordham interviewed a woman who warned of the dangers posed by sovereign citizens.
Callers to 2GB reportedly told the producers Graham should be allowed, but Fordham said he had not been promised a spot on their show and suggested he “change his medication”.
Fordham also said some supporters of the sovereign citizen movement were upset that “apparently I’ve been making fun of them.”
The radio host said he thought he would support them because he opposed lockdowns and vaccine mandates during the covid-19 pandemic.
“Well, I’m happy to help them find a good therapist,” Fordham said.
Graham, who has also been placed on an apprehended violence warrant by police, is running for the New South Wales Parliament in next month’s state election.
He has built a following online during the pandemic with posts and live streams opposing the lockdowns.
Since his arrest, Graham has filed a request for police to return items seized from his boat.
“They took everything that was inside the boat, all the devices,” he said in a live broadcast.
“They also took all the things they weren’t supposed to take, which is all our election equipment, all my signatures that I came to Canberra and I took them from you beautiful people.”
He said he used his time in custody to ‘red pill’ Wollongong police officers and uses mainstream media to spread his messages.
‘Red Pill’ is a reference to the 1999 film The Matrix, where taking the pill leads to learning a potentially disturbing or life-changing truth.

“If we have the opportunity to use the mainstream media…leave it to us, we need it, we are in a war,” he said.
But it did not improve his chances of appearing in the mainstream media when last Tuesday he allegedly clashed with journalists who were at the Wollongong courthouse over unrelated matters.
Fordham said he would be “looking for the headache pills” if he allowed Graham on his show.
