Conservatives now think Trump will file felony charges against beloved liberal icon

Conservatives are already predicting that Donald Trump will file federal charges against Anthony Fauci.

The suspicion comes as figures such as Elon Musk have called for the arrest of the infectious disease expert, who was one of Trump’s top medical advisers during the Covid pandemic.

At the height of his power, bobblehead puppet figures of Fauci appeared in the windows of liberal bookstores in New York.

However, demands to fully investigate his methods have grown louder since the National Institutes of Health admitted to Congress earlier this year that it funded risky gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China, under Fauci.

Newly discovered emails then showed attempts by top aides to circumvent public records laws and a possible “conspiracy at the highest levels … to avoid public transparency regarding the COVID-19 pandemic,” Rep. Brad Wenstrup said.

Wenstrup, a Republican from Ohio, is chairing the Republican Party-led investigation into the origins of the crisis.

Former Levi’s executive Jennifer Sey, who was fired for eliminating COVID restrictions in schools in 2022, and prominent molecular biologist Richard. H Ebright was among those on Wednesday already anticipating a Trump victory – and prosecutions to follow.

“This will not end well for Fauci,” wrote Sey, who was ousted from Levi’s after a conversation with CEO Charles Berg in which she was told she was “too problematic” to be his successor. She had criticized the NIH-recommended restrictions put in place at the time.

“Good,” she added.

“A very bad night for unindicted criminal Fauci… who is now on the path to becoming indicted and convicted criminal Anthony Fauci,” added Ebright, who has a degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from Harvard.

He added that with figures such as Rand Paul as chairman of the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs and Robert F Kennedy Jr. an almost assured role in the White House, Fauci’s ‘indictment and conviction’ is coming.

Both believe that Fauci violated federal policies on gain of office and research into potential pandemic pathogens as part of a conspiracy to commit fraud and perjury, and that he is responsible for a pandemic that has killed 20 million people.

When an audience member suggested that Fauci “probably has immunity” because he held federal security clearances, Ebright explained why this would no longer be the case.

“No,” the renowned scientist snapped, as New York Times statistics put Kamala Harris’ chances of winning the presidential election at a paltry 7 percent.

Calls for charges against the infectious disease expert have increased since the National Institutes of Health admitted it funded risky gain of function research in Wuhan under Fauci.

“His protection from prosecution has always been dependent on the whims of the DoJ and the White House. Which will now be in other hands.’

Fauci, meanwhile, remains at the center of an escalating investigation into the origins of the virus, which has exposed carefully crafted efforts to conceal official government correspondence — and public scrutiny.

They have shown that at least some agency officials, including a top adviser to then-director Fauci, deleted messages and used personal emails to skirt public records laws.

David Morens, a former Fauci aide and career NIH scientist, admitted to the committee last May that he may have sent information about government affairs to Fauci’s personal email, because Wenstrup said the evidence “suggests a conspiracy at the highest level ‘.

“I can send things to Tony via his private gmail, or deliver them to him at work,” Morens wrote in a 2021 email released by the committee.

“He’s too smart to let colleagues direct him to things that could cause problems.”

Elon Musk is among those calling for prosecution of the former NIH head amid claims the agency has operated as a bloated bureaucracy

In June, the former head of NIAID, who resigned at the end of 2022, appeared before the committee to urge lawmakers that he never used a personal email to talk about his work.

He continues to maintain that position as he also faced backlash over research he signed on beagle puppies by his National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID).

The project involved the torture and killing of innocent hunting dogs in a laboratory in Tunisia to learn about a parasitic disease, something the NIAID initially denied funding before Fauci confirmed this year was a lie.

It also saw the hashtag #ArrestFauci trend on the site formerly known as Twitter as it faced backlash over its handling of the pandemic. The now retired expert also faced criticism about this in June.

In a statement offered in response Monday, Fauci’s attorney David Schertler said his client “stands by his June 3 testimony.”

He further claimed that the email was “a personal matter and not a matter related to government business,” as many conservatives — including allies of former President Trump — continue to portray the NIH as a bloated bureaucracy that protected unaccountable officials.

Fauci has become the focal point of the scandal and was widely seen as the public face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Historically, the NIH has enjoyed unquestioned bipartisan support, but the grant money used during the pandemic — well into the trillions — has placed it under rare outside scrutiny.

Taking the lead are Republicans in the House of Representatives, who will be even more encouraged by a Trump victory.
