Conservative ‘parental rights’ activist Clarie Schillinger is arrested for ‘PUNCHING a teenager and hosting underage drinking party’
A conservative “parental rights” activist and former Republican candidate for Pennsylvania's lieutenant governor has been arrested after allegedly beating a teenager while hosting an underage drinking party at her home.
Clarice Schillinger, 36, is accused of assault, harassment and providing alcohol to minors at her daughter's birthday party in September, according to newly reported records obtained by USA today to reveal.
The mother, who denies the allegations, is an influential player in the state's school board political sphere and reportedly plays a central role in a political action committee that has spent more than $800,000 on Republican school boards since 2021.
Schillinger, an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor in 2022, is known for supporting right-wing challengers who oppose COVID lockdowns and argue that “woke” ideologies are permeating schools.

The activist reportedly hosted her daughter's 17th birthday party and allegedly provided about 20 minors with alcohol, including taking shots with them and playing beer pong.
The party allegedly got out of hand when adults became heavily intoxicated during the underage party, according to a reported probable cause statement.
Schillinger organized the event for her daughter's 17th birthday and had about 20 teenagers at her home in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Police at the scene wrote that the party took place in the basement, with a fully stocked bar of New Amsterdam vodka and Malibu Bay Breeze rum, the affidavit said.
Witnesses claimed Schillinger served the teens liquor, ordered them to take a shot with her and played beer pong with them.
At some point in the evening, it appears the festivities got out of hand when adults at the party began arguing, including a confrontation between Schillinger and her then-boyfriend.
The friend, who has not been named, is said to have choked a 16-year-old visitor by the neck when the teenager tried to intervene, and also punched a 15-year-old in the face during an argument over football.
According to allegations in the reported lawsuits, Schillinger's drunken mother also became embroiled in the ugly scenes and allegedly punched a teenage visitor in the eye and chased him around the kitchen island.
Investigators say they have cellphone recordings of some of these incidents, according to USA Today.

The mother is accused of punching a teenager in the face after she got drunk and reportedly had to be physically restrained as those present tried to escape. She denies the accusations
Schillinger appears to have become more involved when several minors attempted to flee the drunken adults, and she reportedly ordered them to stay as the teens tried to escape.
The Republican candidate then allegedly went up to one of the teens who was trying to leave and punched him three times with a closed fist before having to physically restrain her.
The next day, the morning of September 30, one of the teen's parents called police to report the unruly party and assaults, and police then proceeded to question several teenagers present, according to the affidavit.
Court documents also allege that police were previously called to Schillinger's home for reports of an underage party, and that records obtained by USA Today by the Bucks County Emergency Service Division recorded at least four different calls to the address.
Schillinger had reportedly only been renting the house since the spring.
Buckingham Township police responded to a noise complaint and a possible underage party at her home on September 24, the weekend before her daughter's 17th birthday.
Police reported scattering beer cans around the property and saw about 20 teenagers running into the house when they arrived. When they spoke with Schillinger, they discovered she was “intoxicated and uncooperative,” the affidavit said.
On September 29, a new noise complaint was also received at her home, although police had only contacted her then-boyfriend.
In a statement, Schillinger's attorney Matthew Brittenburg said, “Ms. Schillinger dedicated her life to public service.
“Plus, she has always been a law-abiding citizen. Ms. Schillinger looks forward to the opportunity to defend herself against these allegations.”
However, Schillinger was also reportedly arrested several times in the late 2000s for allegedly driving under the influence and writing bad checks. National file.

Schillinger now faces a number of criminal charges and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in January, with her lawyers saying she denies the allegations and plans to fight them in court.
Her mother, Danette Bert, and her then-boyfriend were charged with assault and harassment, but both had their charges dropped when they pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in December.
Schillinger reportedly claimed in an email that her case had been dismissed and that the accusations only came from her “angry ex-boyfriend.” However, her case remains active, according to online court records.
A spokesperson for the Bucks County District Attorney's Office also said Wednesday that the charges will not be dropped.
Her then-boyfriend also allegedly made no accusations against Schillinger when he spoke to police, and the allegations came from teenage witnesses and cellphone footage.
