Conor McGregor’s fiancee Dee Devlin steps in after UFC star dances closely with a woman at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship after-party in Marbella

  • The Irishman is a legend of the sport, having won belts in two different weights
  • Last night he revealed that his next fight would be against Dan Hooker on February 1
  • But he also got in trouble for dancing with another woman and pulling her hair

Conor McGregor’s fiancée was forced to intervene to stop the UFC star from dancing with another woman at a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship after-party in Marbella.

The Irishman is one of the sport’s most famous names after becoming the first to hold titles in two different weight classes and attracting millions of new fans to MMA with his entertaining fighting style and lively post-event interviews.

He last entered the Octagon in July 2021, losing to Dustin Poirier in his trilogy fight at UFC 264 and suffering a broken leg.

Since then, speculation has been rife about who the 36-year-old will fight next and on Saturday in Marbella, McGregor made the astonishing revelation that his comeback would be on February 1 against Dan Hooker.

But that’s not all The Notorious was up to last night, as the UFC icon got up close and personal with a woman standing on a crowded dance floor at an afterparty, pulling her hair in front of stunned onlookers.

One of them was his long-time fiancée Dee Devlin, who quickly intervened to prevent McGregor from getting into any more trouble.

The fighter had pulled the locks of the woman, who was dancing with a UFC-style strap over her shoulder, before dancing suggestively next to her while holding a canned drink and his phone.

Once Devlin places himself in the space between the bouncing pair, McGregor steps back and laughs before tapping his fiancée on the back.

Clearly not bothered about his hair cravings, the UFC legend rips his partner’s locks loose before saying a few words and flashing a beaming grin.

McGregor’s antics come after he revealed he would face New Zealand’s Hooker in a highly anticipated comeback bout on February 1 in Saudi Arabia.

The chosen opponent, from New Zealand, is currently fifth in the UFC Lightweight Rankings, with Russia’s Islam Makhachev as champion.

Hooker has won 24 fights and lost 12 in his Octagon career. Most recently, he defeated Polish star Mateusz Gamrot in a statement victory in August. The win extended his streak to three fights.

McGregor, 36, had originally scheduled a December date for his first showdown, but UFC CEO Dana White quickly quashed those rumors and confirmed the Irishman won’t fight until early 2025.

Last month, ahead of Anthony Joshua’s shock defeat at the hands of Daniel Dubois in the boxing ring, McGregor said: ‘It will be 2025. We’ll see. My opponent that I had planned… it is what it is. I’ll take it on board and move on.

“My job is to go to the gym and be in shape. Whenever it is and wherever it is. I will be one hundred percent ready. I need to get two fights in 2025. It is the promised land.

“Who knows (who the next opponent will be). It doesn’t matter. Anybody, let’s take a look. I like being Chandler. I wish him the best and see where it goes.”
