Conor Benn has slammed Chris Eubank Jr.’s demands ahead of their upcoming fight at The O2 Arena in London.
The British fighters will go toe-to-toe on October 8 in a catchweight bout set at 157 pounds as they follow in their fathers’ footsteps by meeting in the ring.
Their fathers Nigel and Chris clashed twice – first in 1990 and again in 1993 – with Chris winning via TKO in the first fight, before the pair shared a split draw in the second.

Benn claimed that Eubank’s ‘ego kept getting in their way’ during negotiations for the fight
Eubank is viewed as the more esteemed fighter heading into the bout and Benn slammed some of his opponent’s requests for the fight.
Speaking to BBC 5 Live Boxing, Benn said: ‘There were numerous things [delays caused by Eubank during negotiations]. His ego kept getting in the way.
‘[Eubank wanted] ringwalk second, home corner, his name first on the bill, all of that. Everybody knows its Benn-Eubank, but anyway, we let him have Eubank-Benn.
Benn stated that his upcoming opponent even argued over who’s name went first on the bill
‘So we let him have all of that. We was arguing about all of that and I just, you know what, just let him have it all…my ego ain’t that big.
‘If he feels like he needs all that, then that’s fine. Just give me an eighteen-foot ring and we’re good.’
Benn also played down talk that he may be feeling the pressure ahead of the clash. He added: ‘I work extremely hard. I leave everything in the gym. I do as much as I can, I do the best I can.
‘Why have I got to feel the pressure? I’ve done this too many times, I’ve entertained too many times for this to now just go, all of a sudden, it’s going to make me crumble.’
