Connie Britton opted for stylish comfort in a fuzzy coat as she stepped out for a brief outing in New York City on Friday.

The Friday Night Lights alum, 56, recently celebrated her appearance on the cover of DuJour magazine last month in February.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress was seen strolling down a busy sidewalk while sporting a graphic T-shirt along with a pair of black pants that contained a tropical pattern of green leaves and birds on the soft material.

She completed the outfit with a cream-colored fleece jacket that fell past her knees to provide a bit of warmth on the cloudy day.

For a fashionable flare, Connie tucked the hem of her pants into a pair of black and pink leather boots that offered an added pop of color.

The star slung a dark blue bag with a brown leather trim over the crook of her right arm to store a few items she needed during her outing.

Her long locks were parted in the middle and flowed effortlessly past her shoulders in light, natural waves.

Britton opted for simple accessories, like donning a pair of small silver earrings and an assortment of rings on her hand.

She also wore a gold chain necklace with a circular pendant that was partially hidden by her coat along with a pair of fancy glasses to complete her overall look.

The actress has had a busy schedule of late and most recently starred in the Apple TV+ series Dear Edward, which premiered on the streaming site early last month in February.

The show is based on a novel of the same name written by Ann Napolitano, and also stars Orange Is The New Black star Taylor Schilling, Audrey Cosa and Colin O’Brien.

Last month, Connie stopped by The Late Late Show with Stephen Colbert to chat about the project and explained his decision to take a leading role in the series.

“The show is really about the community coming together of all the survivors of all the people who died on the plane, and it’s really about grief and people dealing with grief and coming together to support each other.”

The Spin City actress further expressed, “It’s about resilience and finding life after terrible tragedy and loss, because grief is a part of everyone’s life.”

He later added that the series is “uplifting and the characters are great.” I got to play this really funny character. So I actually think he’ll give people the feeling of ‘Oh, I’m not alone in this.’ And there is life beyond, and it is the power of the human spirit.

Connie, who notably starred in the first season of HBO Max’s hit show The White Lotus, recently hinted at whether she might have a possible return in season three.

The Nashville star had played the character of Nicole Massbacher, the CFO of a successful search engine company.

Britton expressed that she would love to see a spin-off of every character on that show.

The star has also been cast in the upcoming drama Winner, which is based on the real-life whistleblower Reality Winner.
