Congressman says three ‘dynamite witnesses’ will testify under oath next week that they’ve got firsthand knowledge of UFOs

Three military witnesses will testify under oath before Congress this Wednesday that they have firsthand knowledge of UFOs.

Air Force and intelligence veteran David Grusch — whose staggering claims about an illegal UFO crash retrieval program operating in the Secret World was made public in June — will be among those giving sworn testimony.

“We have three witnesses with dynamite,” Congressman Tim Burchett said Tuesday.

‘They are professionals. They’re military,” the Tennessee Republican pointed out. “It’s people who were there and saw what they saw.”

Republican Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee, who serves on the House Oversight Committee, will preside next week’s public UFO hearing on July 26, which he said was undermined by efforts by the Pentagon and US intelligence agencies to “constantly block things.”

Burchett, who serves on the House Oversight and Accountability committee, will preside next week’s public UFO hearing, which he says has been actively undermined by both the Pentagon and US intelligence agencies to “constantly block things.”

“It’s going to be the biggest show in town, though,” Representative Burchett said.

“We’re not going to march in little green men,” the three-term congressman joked to SiriusXM political talk show host Julie Mason on her program Julie Mason Mornings. “Or women, as the case may be.”

The only person confirmed to be marching in, Grusch, who also had an intelligence-gathering role at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, has accused both the US military and its private defense contractors of withholding evidence of UFO crashes, recovered “creatures” and UFO-related deaths.

News of Grusch’s sworn testimony came last night from Burchett in conversations with reporter Matt Laslo, of the Newsletter Ask a Pol.

Rep. Burchett said that—despite “military people” calling him and saying Congress should “get to the bottom of” the UFO mystery—the process of gathering witnesses for the oversight committee’s public UFO hearing was fraught with interference from federal figures in the national security sector.

“If they don’t exist, the federal government will surely resist, you know?” Burchett said.

“They keep saying those aliens don’t exist, but they keep blocking things. The Pentagon destroys witnesses. NASA backed out.”

The congressman noted that members of US intelligence agencies have acted through their trusted contacts in the House Intelligence Committee to thwart the federal government’s public release of UFO evidence.

“We have a bunch of bureaucrats telling a bunch of elected officials what’s going on,” Rep. Burchett complained.

“You’ve got compromised people all over here,” the congressman said.

Burchett described interference by the US intelligence community as “very obvious” in the process of scheduling next week’s UFO hearings, telling Mason and her audience, “You have personnel trying, so to speak, to ‘crash the party and not let us bring in certain witnesses.’

Worse, Burchett accused members of US spy agencies of interfering with his attempts to add a UFO transparency amendment to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2023 (S.1939).

The UFO amendment, which Burchett tweeted in part Tuesday, would have required the FAA to “produce an unclassified report on occurrences where commercial pilots see or otherwise visually witness unknown objects in flight.”

As the government’s civil aviation authority, the FAA would be tasked with publishing “all commercial industry documents,” including airline data, related to UFO events.

The FAA report was supposed to focus on those UFO events that “disturbed, disrupted, or interacted with flight instruments.”

And yet, despite Burchett’s UFO amendment that dealt exclusively with unclassified material produced by commercial airline pilots and civilian aviators, they “blocked that: the Intelligence Community-slash-Committee.”

“It never ends with this bunch,” Burchett told Mason’s audience, clarifying that it was primarily the American “intelligence community” that shot down his amendment through their contacts on Capitol Hill.

“Why is the ‘intelligence community’ blocking my amendment?” Burchett took to Twitter to ask. “And how do they have the power to block it?”

Burchett’s experience wouldn’t be the first time federal lawmakers have faced heavy interference from US intelligence agencies.

In 2014, the CIA was accused of illegally spying on Senate staffers charged with investigating allegations of torture committed by the agency as part of the Bush administration’s “extraordinary rendition program” during the global war on terror.

The CIA eventually had to give in that they had hacked into the computers of Senate employeesdespite the agency’s initial false denials.

Burchett was more positive about the high level of bipartisan cooperation on the UFO mystery, and praised his fellow House Oversight Committee member and Florida Democratic congressman Jared Moskowitz for his work on the matter.

“He’s my buddy,” Burchett said. “He’s an excellent lawyer… I’d hate to be against him.”

The Tennessee Republican also praised Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer for his recent UFO amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act.

“I’m actually glad he’s following my lead,” Burchett said. “We want to know what’s out there and why the federal government is trying to hide it from us.”

The congressman said his next steps will be to get answers to the government’s UFO secret field hearings: a form of congressional hearing outside the halls of the Capitol.

Field hearings date back to the fact-finding missions American legislators conducted on the front lines of the Civil War.

“I’m tired of waiting for the government,” Burchett said, “I’m tired of playing by their stupid rules that they change all the time.”
