Congress promises to ‘pull back the curtain’ on secret UFO research as whistleblowers prepare to testify

The US Congress has promised to ‘pull back the curtain’ on secret UAP research programs being conducted in the shadows of the government in court.

A second series of hearings on UFOs is scheduled for Nov. 13, led by the House Oversight Committee, at which former military officials and a space expert will testify about their knowledge of secret U.S. programs.

Lawmakers have pledged to ‘investigate first-hand accounts of (UFOs)’ and ‘assess the transparency and accountability of the federal government regarding their ‘potential threats to national security’.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), a member of the subcommittee, said, “The bureaucrats at the Pentagon and Washington have hidden this information for decades, and we’re finally going to shed some light on it.

“We are bringing in credible witnesses to testify publicly because the American people deserve the truth. We are done with the cover-ups.”

There will be four witnesses testifying under oath, including former Defense Department official Luis Elizondo and former NASA Associate Administrator Michael Gold.

Congress will hold a second hearing on UAPs that it has promised will reveal the truth to the American public, especially about the government’s research programs. Pictured is the famous Tic Tac-shaped object seen in the sky over California on November 10, 2004

Next week’s hearing, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET, will be a joint effort between Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.).

“This is our second hearing on the topic of UAPs and the American people are tired of the federal government’s misappropriation and refusal to release information,” they said in a shared statement.

“Americans deserve to understand what the government has learned about UAP sightings and the nature of the potential threats these phenomena pose.

“We can only ensure that understanding by providing consistent, systemic transparency. We look forward to hearing from expert witnesses on how we can shed more light and take more responsibility on this issue.”

The committee has not released details of the cases that will be presented on Wednesday, but has released the list of witnesses.

Elizondo, a U.S. Army counterintelligence specialist, previously led the Army’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

He recently hosted a private event in Philadelphia on October 28 to unveil an image of an alleged UFO “mothership.”

“There’s a lot more here, folks,” Elizondo told the audience in a leaked clip. “I just want to give you a taste of what goes on ‘behind the scenes.’

“We have pilots, military pilots and civilian pilots in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, reporting what seems unimaginably impossible,” as Elizondo explained his “real photo” of a UFO.

“They literally called it ‘the mother ship,’” Elizondo said.

Investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger will also be sworn in under oath.

Shellenberger – who is also an academic and two-time candidate for governor of California – went viral last month after publishing one of his anonymous whistleblower reports on an alleged UFO data collection program.

This secret UFO data retrieval effort, called ‘Immaculate Constellation’, was created in 2017 to ‘detect’ and ‘quarantine’ the military’s best UFO footage, along with the best videos, witness statements and electronic sensor evidence.

Dr. Tim Gallaudet, a former vice admiral in the US Navy, launched an investigation into unidentified underwater objects (USOs) in March, specifically strange sightings on the seabed off the coast of California.

Gold is a former NASA Associate Administrator who was part of the agency’s UAP investigation in October 2022, which focused exclusively on unclassified data.

Over nine months, the independent research team will lay the foundation for future investigations into the nature of UAPs for NASA and other organizations.

The hearing follows last year’s bomb trial hosted by Burchett and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla).

David Grusch – a former high-ranking intelligence official – was one of three military whistleblowers who testified under oath that they had firsthand encounters or knowledge of secret government programs involving technology that is “non-human.”

He claimed the US has possessed and secretly manipulated UFOs since “the 1930s” and waged a public disinformation campaign to prevent the details from leaking publicly.

During the hearing, Burchett asked Grusch, “Have you personally heard that anyone has been murdered?”

Grusch responded, “I have to be careful in answering that question. I have referred people with that knowledge to the right authorities.’

He was sworn in Wednesday along with Ryan Graves, an esteemed former pilot, and veteran Navy fighter pilot Commander David Fravor, who witnessed the 2004 “Tic Tac” UFO.

Graves, a former F-18 pilot with more than a decade of service in the U.S. Navy, was the first to make opening statements.

“My testimony is based on information I received from individuals with a long track record of legitimacy and service to this country, many of whom have shared compelling evidence in the form of photography, official documentation and secret oral testimony against myself. and many different colleagues,” Graves told lawmakers, stating he was driven to share it by a “commitment to truth and transparency.”

Burchett described the 2023 hearing as “historic.”

‘I would like to thank these three brave witnesses. They took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, and by golly, they do,” he continued.

“We’re not bringing any little green men or flying saucers to the hearing – sorry to disappoint about half of you – we’re just going to look at the facts.

“We’re going to expose the cover-up, and I hope this is just the beginning of many more hearings and many more people will come forward about this.”
