Condell Park dog attack: Woman is left fighting for life as NSW Police are forced to draw their Tasers on ‘aggressive’ dog
A woman was brutally mauled by a dog when police officers were forced to use tasers on the ‘aggressive’ animal.
The woman in her 30s suffered “multiple bites” to her chest and limbs during the terrifying attack at a property on Warburton Street in Condell Park in Sydney’s south-west shortly before 1pm on Tuesday.
She was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition. The animal was removed from the scene by dog handlers.
Harrowing footage from the scene shows two officers standing behind a wall as onlookers shout at them to take action.

“It has to stop now, you have to get her out of their buddy,” says a tradie watching from behind a fence.
Seconds later, a shot is heard as one of the officers fires their tasers. The animal then starts squeaking and barking while someone shouts, “Where’s the ambulance?”
Emergency services arrived a short time later.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said ‘several crews attended the scene’.
“They assessed and treated a woman in her 30s for multiple dog bites to her chest and extremities,” the spokesperson said.
‘She was subsequently transported to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.’
In footage of the incident, a Taser shot can be heard as one of the officers fires his Taser. The animal then starts squeaking and barking while someone shouts, “Where’s the ambulance?”
A NSW Police spokesperson said: ‘At approximately 12.50pm today (Tuesday 6 February 2024), emergency services were called to Warburton Street, Condell Park, following reports of a dog attack.
‘Bystanders tried to intervene before police from Bankstown Police Area Command fired a Taser to stop the attack.
‘A woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
‘The dog has been secured by a dog handler.’
