Comedian Iliza Shlesinger, 40, reveals she is pregnant with her second child as she displays burgeoning bump in a hilarious gender reveal spoof – and confirms her baby boy is due next year

Comedian Iliza Shlesinger and her husband Noah Galuten are expecting their second child together: a baby boy arriving in February 2024.

And as a comedian, Iliza, 40, couldn’t resist announcing her pregnancy with a funny Instagram video that parodied lavish gender reveal parties.

The clip shows a couple preparing to reveal the gender of their child by dropping balloons from a huge gift box, but Iliza pops out instead.

The actress also took the opportunity to deliver a passionate message about the environment, shouting, “It’s enough!”

Comedian Iliza Shlesinger has announced that she and her husband Noah Galuten are expecting their second child: a baby boy arriving in February 2024

“Listen, if you didn’t know balloons were bad before, that’s okay, because we all know that now,” she said. ‘Global warming is such a big problem and there’s not much you can do about it, but the least you can do is not selfishly release balloons into the air that end up in our wildlife and our waterways and our marine life kill.

“The least you can do is not hire a private plane to spread napalm in pink and blue throughout your neighborhood, and the least you can do is not accidentally commit arson by throwing together homemade pyrotechnics that will burn down your community, Okay ?

‘Having a baby is such an exciting moment. Revealing the baby’s gender is even more exciting. And this way you can keep it simple.’

Iliza, dressed in a figure-hugging light blue dress, then turned to the camera to show off her growing bump.

“I’m having a boy in February,” she said.

The video ended with a snapshot of her ultrasound.

She captioned the post, “WE ARE SO EXCITED…that no one had to die when we made the announcement! Remember: save the planet, our children have to live here.

‘I can’t wait to welcome our baby boy in February 2024! Sierra and Tian Fu are waiting with so many toys!’

Speak with PeopleIliza said she had ‘forgotten’ that she is currently pregnant due to her strict touring schedule.

“Aside from the mild nausea at first, I’ve been touring so much that I basically keep forgetting I’m pregnant (until I remember my underwear doesn’t fit),” she said.

“But I guess as an older millennial mom who works, you’re always tired, so I think I feel pretty normal,” she said, laughing. “But I do miss being able to breathe through my nose!”

The mother-of-two said she’s “looking forward to being a little less cheesy” with her second child.

“But at the same time, I’m looking forward to discovering this brand new person and seeing what he’s all about!” she added.

Since establishing herself as an in-demand comedian, Iliza has also branched out into acting roles.

In June 2021, her semi-autobiographical film Good On Paper was released on Netflix.

She wrote, produced and starred in the film, which tells a fictionalized version of a true incident in which she dated a man who repeatedly lied to her about his job, wealth, education and even that his mother had cancer.

In a 2015 stand-up routine called Lying Brian, which aired on a Comedy Central special, she talked about meeting a man named Brian Murphy on a plane.

He claimed to be a Yale graduate and said he worked at a hedge fund while on the run.

In an interview in June for NPRs Weekend Edition Saturday she claimed she never found him attractive, but the two started dating anyway after he called her out of the blue to say his mother had been diagnosed with cancer.

But Iliza later discovered that he had lied about the college he graduated from and that he was living with friends in a duplex instead of a house in Beverly Hills, and that his mother didn’t even have cancer.
