Comanchero boss Allan Meehan locked in power struggle with ex boss Mick Murray

Allan Meehan’s top spot at the top of the infamous Comancheros bikie gang is under threat from ex-leader Mick Murray, it has been revealed.

The ‘Bathrobe Bikie’ replaced Murray as Comanchero’s national president after his former boss was charged with murder in 2019.

However, a power struggle has now broken out between the two underworld figures and Murray is now eager to be reinstated as head of the club.

But Meehan still has solid support in the ranks and has no intention of stepping aside.

NSW Police and underworld sources are said to be aware of the bitter feud between Meehan and Murray.

However, sources believe Mark Buddle is still in charge of the biker gang, despite being currently in a Melbourne jail after being extradited and accused of importing drugs from Cyprus.

“Buddle is still in control,” a source in the underworld told the… Daily Telegram.

“It will be his decision at the end of the day and some in Victoria think Mick (Murray) should never have been faggot.

“But I think most don’t want their president behind bars, so Meehan is their choice.”

Murray was arrested in April for the alleged murder of Mitat Rasimi, an associate of noted drug lord Tony Mokbel, and will appear in court next February.

Meehan was dubbed the Bathrobe Bikie after he posted Instagram photos of himself in a Versace robe, as well as images of designer jewelry, clothing and a custom gold bike.

The outlaw gang’s flamboyant national “commander” and prominent Comanchero members were recently mugged by detectives as a direct result of “showing off their wealth and possessions.”

Sources have revealed that Comanchero bikies had been warned that their accounts would be frozen so that police could search for evidence of proceeds of crime that contribute to the purchase of high-value goods.

This is after Meehan posted photos of himself and his colleagues, decked out in designer clothes and jewellery, celebrating at a chic Melbourne restaurant to celebrate Tarek Zahed’s survival after a failed gangland hit.

And also after Meehan posted a video of his imported gold-plated V-rod Harley Davidson motorcycle on Instagram.

Sources said the escrow accounts had caused a headache for the older guard like Murray.

Meehan is one of several Comanchero and other senior bikers who have been issued a Serious Crime Prevention Order (SCPO) against them.
