Colts TE Andrew Ogletree arrested on domestic battery charges after being accused of ‘BODYSLAMMING’ the victim – as NFL team confirms ‘disturbing allegations’ in row that erupted ‘after his phone was broken’

Indianapolis Colt tight end Andrew Ogletree reportedly remains in jail after he was arrested Friday on domestic violence charges after allegedly body slamming the victim.

The 25-year-old faces two felonies: “domestic violence resulting in moderate bodily harm” and “domestic violence committed in the physical presence of a child under the age of 16, knowing that the child is present and may be able to see/hear.”

Ogletree attended the training Friday before being booked into the Hendricks County Jail in Danville, Indiana.

According to reports, he was still being held without bail on Friday evening.

Ogletree is reportedly accused of body-slamming the victim to the ground, with police indicating the dispute broke out after the tight end's phone broke.

Fox 59 reports that Ogletree told police the victim tried to punch him before pushing them to the ground, according to court documents. The victim reportedly confirmed that they tried to hit him.

Avon police said according to Fox 59: that officers were dispatched to a home after a report of physical violence between two adults on December 26.

Ogletree, it is said, was arrested at the scene, while a victim was taken to hospital to have his injuries assessed.

Two days later, on December 28, a A warrant was issued for Ogletree's arrest, with the tight end turning himself in on Friday.

Ogletree, who played college football at Findlay and Youngstown State, was drafted by Indianapolis in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft.

The tight end missed his entire rookie season after tearing his ACL during training camp.

He made his NFL debut this season and appeared in 10 games for the Colts, racking up nine receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns.

Indianapolis will take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
