Colorado State two-way star Travis Hunter appears to squash any beef with Colorado’s Hunter Blackburn after dirty hit that resulted in lacerated liver
Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter appears to have quashed any issues with Colorado State Rams safety Henry Blackburn.
Blackburn was the Rams defensive player who injured Hunter on what many considered a foul hit, which led to Hunter missing time with a lacerated liver.
Colorado State defensive lineman James Mitchel uploaded a post to his Instagram Story showing that Hunter and Blackburn appeared to be meeting up and hugging things out.
Blackburn also uploaded to his own Instagram Story, saying, “God has a bigger plan.”
‘It’s football at the end of the day. Things like that are going to happen,” Hunter said in an interview the Monday after the game.

‘I just have to get up and fight again. Good thing the doctors stopped me because if there were no doctors I would still be playing.
Blackburn reportedly received death threats after the goal, which were quickly condemned by Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.
“Henry Blackburn is a good player who played a phenomenal game,” Sanders said.
“He made a huge hit on Travis on the sideline. You can call it dirty, you can call it ‘he just played football’.
Earlier this week, Sanders revealed that Hunter sent him a text message refusing to take “no” for an answer when it came to playing Colorado’s game against No. 8 USC this week, but Sanders still told Hunter that he would have to wait another week to get fully healthy.
