  • Colorado State University coach Jay Norvell's wife, Kim, shot at Colorado quarterback and Deion Sanders' son Shedeur over a postgame interaction after the Rocky Mountain showdown on Sept. 16.

The interaction happened when Norvell and Colorado coach Deion Sanders approached each other after the final whistle.

After Norvell's “Congratulations” was met with Sanders' “God bless,” the two coaches got into a conversation about Norvell mentioning his counterpart's family in the lead-up to the game. Instead of engaging, Norvell quickly cut the conversation short and went his own way.

“Shadeur (sic) was acting like a B when Jay turned around after trying to talk to his dad,” Kim said in a now-deleted tweet. “And he held up his watch.”

Kim made the comment after the latest episode of the “Coach Prime” docuseries came out, in which Sanders discussed interacting with Norvell after Colorado's 43-35 win.

Shedeur stood next to his father and coach during the entire conversation.

As Norvell approached, Shedeur told Deion, “Don't post him.”

“You were talking about my mother, dog,” Sanders told Norvell after claiming he never talked about his family.

However, Norvell's comments about Sanders and how he was raised before the game suggested otherwise.

“When I talk to adults, I take off my hat and my glasses,” Norvell said. “My mother taught me that.”

The comments added a personal layer to the already heated rivalry between the schools.

Sanders brought along his mother, Connie, and WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to speak to his players in the locker room before the win.

The back-and-forth between the coaches also led to tempers flaring between the players during warm-ups. After heated verbal exchanges, both sides had to be separated, with Shedeur and teammate Travis Hunter taking center stage.

Shedeur finished the game with 348 yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, his older brother and Colorado safety Shilo recorded three tackles and an interception.
