College football fans all say the same thing about viral Georgia supporters’ bizarre costume during Sugar Bowl
Rival college football fans mocked Georgia fans after the touchdown during the second half of Notre Dame’s opener, as cameras panned to their disappointed faces covered in paint with their spiked shoulder pads intact.
Comparisons were made to legendary professional wrestling tag team Legion of Doom and Las Vegas Raiders fans in various colors to those in the Caesars Superdome in their lavish Bulldogs costumes.
Painted faces, shoulder pads, sunglasses, masks and more were part of the attire of Georgia fans who wanted to wear more than a red and black shirt in New Orleans.
The fans who looked sad were ruthlessly mocked online as some couldn’t fathom why some would dress like that in public, let alone with the chance of being featured on national television.
With Georgia’s dominance over the past few seasons, any chance to kick the Bulldogs while they are down is a worthwhile opportunity for college football fans.
