College football fan sends social media wild with her shock viral slip-up on live TV
A college football fan sent social media into hysterics on Saturday with her overly excited response about her Indiana Hoosiers team.
The Hoosiers hosted the Washington Huskies on Saturday, running out 37-17 winners, and before the game, ESPN’s College GameDay interviewed a female fan who was about to attend the game.
“We are honestly so excited,” she said. ‘We’re all freshmen, we’ve never seen them before. We’ve never been to college!
“And the team is so good, we’re so excited. We were here at 7am, I’ve never woken up so early. We’re here, we’re ready to fuck…’
Once she accidentally swore on live television, she held her hands over her face and stared back at the reporter, Samantha Johnson, in shock and embarrassment.
An Indiana Hoosiers fan accidentally cursed her team live on TV on Saturday
Reporter Samantha Johnson jumped in and joked that the fan said her team is ‘ready to fight’
Johnson put her hand on the girl’s arm and quickly jumped in to say, “We’re ready to fight, she said.”
The moment immediately caused fans to react on social media. “Her own reaction was priceless,” said one, while another wrote: “Let’s normalize bombs! Go Hoosiers!!!’
Others took something else from what the girl said, with one supporter writing: ‘I’m more bothered by the fact that she says she’s never been up at 7am…’
But the fan’s excitement was justified as she watched her team beat the Huskies 31-17 on Saturday, extending their undefeated start to the season to 8-0.
However, there are some big tests on the horizon. After next week’s game at Michigan State, they host Michigan and also meet Ohio State in their penultimate game of the year.
But for now, now that they sit atop the B1G, they’re in a position to make the playoffs – which means there’ll be a lot more excitement for the viral freshmen in the coming weeks.
