Jost and Johansson have a son, Cosmo, who turns three in August. Jost praised his partner for being an “amazing mom” to their toddler and Scarlett’s nine-year-old daughter Rose, whom she has with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
He said: ‘I think part of the reason I fell in love with her is because she’s an amazing mother,’ he added. ‘I’ve known Rose, my stepdaughter, since she was 2. It’s weird. You really get a taste of what someone is like as a mother.’
He said of her life outside of fame: “She goes to the grocery store. She’s just really good at wearing a hat and she keeps moving. She can kind of fly under the radar, but she can do all these everyday things and enjoy them.”
Earlier this month, Johansson spoke out about Jost’s cameo in Fly Me To The Moon.
She told Jimmy Kimmel that director Greg Berlanti was a “huge fan” of Colin.
“And Colin, I think he had to do it because it’s in our prenuptial agreement. If I have to do something, he has to be there to support me,” Scarlett said, causing Jimmy to burst out laughing.
Jimmy asked Scarlett if she went over her lines with Colin, referring to the custom of rehearsing dialogue with someone.
“I do the lines with him, which is great. You would think that would be really helpful because you have a partner to help you, you can learn your lines, you know, for tomorrow, whatever,” Scarlett said.
