Coleen Rooney ‘sneaks unusual luxury item’ into the I’m A Celeb jungle that’s her ‘secret weapon’ ahead of show’s launch

Coleen Rooney reportedly smuggled collagen bags into the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle prior to the show’s launch.

The WAG apparently ‘swears by’ the beauty product to keep her hair, nails and skin looking healthy and it was ‘non-negotiable’ for her to have them in Australia.

Coleen is set to make things tough in camp with a cast of famous faces including former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse and McFly’s Danny Jones in the ITV competition, which kicks off on Sunday.

While most celebrities would choose chocolate as their luxury item, the 38-year-old is reportedly more interested in maintaining her daily beauty regimen.

A source said The mirror: ‘She has always taken care of herself, and this is just part of her routine.

“She absolutely swears by collagen and that was non-negotiable. It’s one of her secret weapons to stay healthy.’

Coleen – who will reportedly be paid £1.5million for her jungle stint – is already an ambassador for global wellness brand Applied Nutrition.

She is thought to be preparing for the launch of the Coleen Rooney Applied Nutrition collagen range in January – so its collagen sachets could be an excellent promotion in the camp for the potential upcoming venture.

The mother of four also brought some personal touches to the camp, according to the outlet.

Coleen packed photos of her sons – Kai, 15, Kit, 11, Klay, eight, and six-year-old Cass – to keep her from getting homesick at camp.

‘She is a devoted mother and having pictures of her children with her is a must. They are her motivation through everything, even the hardest parts of the show,” the source said.

Before flying Down Under, Coleen revealed she had left behind two huge whiteboards with instructions for the ‘army of people’ who will look after the children.

‘I’m very afraid of leaving the children behind. That’s my biggest thing, and I’ve been thinking about that for weeks and months,” she admitted in an Instagram video.

‘But I’m at peace with it. I’ve made plans, I’ve prepared, I have an army of people – family, friends, school friends – all helping with the kids.

The TV personality revealed she had set guidelines for ‘four weeks of timetables, football matches, parties, just everything’.

She finally agreed to sign up for I’m A Celeb after years of being approached by bosses, given her 16-year marriage to Plymouth. Argyle manager Wayne is in a strong position and their children are older.

Earlier this week, Coleen shut down rumors that she will be cleared from Bushtucker trials due to her reactive arthritis, which affects the joints and is caused by stress.

‘I would like to experience it, something different, do something for myself, meet new people. I’m looking forward to doing the tests,” she said on her Instagram Story.

‘There is a lot of news about me not being able to do trials due to certain illnesses, but I can confirm that I can do every trial so I am not excluded from any of them.’
