Coleen Rooney was the epitome of sophistication as she celebrated her recent British Vogue cover at an event in her hometown of Liverpool on Thursday.
The WAG, 37, looked sensational in a gorgeous black dress with sheer inserts at her slender waist.
Coleen’s gown also had long sleeves and shoulder pads and she completed the look perfectly with a gold clutch.
She accentuated her features with glamorous makeup and tied her striking locks back and let locks frame her face.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés from Gino D’ACampo at the posh venue Cricket before Coleen delivered a speech.

Coleen sent fans into an uproar when she broke her years of silence over her £3 million libel case against Rebekah Vardy with a stunning British Vogue to shoot.
In the interview, Coleen, who is married to footballer Wayne Rooney, both 37, labeled her nemesis, 41, as “strange” and said her “bad” lyrics read in court made her sick.
Rebekah had sued Coleen over allegations that she leaked details about Coleen’s private life to the press after Coleen staged an extensive sting operation to find out who was passing stories about her to The Sun.
She told Vogue how she devised a plot to thwart the person who leaked stories, posting false stories to her private account and making them visible only to Rebekah’s account, but she didn’t tell anyone what she was up to. even a lawyer.
Coleen said: ‘I feel like a lot of people still don’t understand what happened, from start to finish. But what I said in that post still stands by me today.”
The WAG revealed that its plan to publicly share the leaker on Instagram in October 2019 was all its own.
She said, ‘In the night I started thinking about what I was going to do. I just wanted these stories to stop.”
But she didn’t classically fire up the Notes app at 3am?

She laughed. ‘No. I like pen and paper – a pencil and rubber, really, so I can rub it out. So I started writing what I wanted to say and the next morning I put it there. That was the start of something I never expected.’
Coleen said she didn’t tell anyone what she was going to do. ‘No. (The part) my friends and family were most surprised at me (because was) posting the post.’
She didn’t show it to Wayne or her mother, nor, despite many suspicions, to a lawyer. She woke up, typed it out and put it on the internet. Then she took Kai and one of his friends to an indoor skydiving.
Feeling empowered and relieved that she had kept her plans to go public a secret, she said, “If I want to sunbathe—and I know I’m going to be talked into not sunbathing—I’m just going to do it.” . It. I didn’t want anyone to tell me not to.’
Coleen admitted she was shocked when Rebekah said she was consulting lawyers. Rooney was immediately shocked.
She had not legalized her statement in advance and assumed that it was permissible to pass on what had happened to her.

Adding: ‘I’ve never been in a court case before so for me it was scary. What a horrible experience. What I dreaded most was a lawsuit.’
Coleen was both concerned and furious that she had been ‘taken to court’, saying: ‘It was hard for me not to let it show.
‘It was so strange that first day, really sitting together on a bench. It was so hard in that courtroom… especially seeing her on the stand. It was quite painful. I felt uncomfortable.

“Obviously she went through it. “I thought, ‘Why did you put yourself in this position?’ It wasn’t fun to watch. To this day, she cannot understand why Vardy took her to court. She’s “strange”.’
And she revealed how she found out she won the case.
She said: ‘I had to come out to take the call, so I’m in my car in the middle of Manchester in an industrial estate. David Sherborne, her attorney, got on the phone and said, “We won,” he said without any build-up.
She laughed, “I think I spent the whole 15 minutes cursing.

“It was quite surreal how many people followed it. Not just football players or girls. It felt like everyone was reading about it. All ages, all types.
“The positivity I got from it…at least I’m glad about that.”
Coleen was awarded legal costs by the court and £800,000 of the total amount due was due immediately.
While Coleen doesn’t seem to harbor any ill will towards Rebekah, she said, “I’m a person who forgives and forgets, I can’t be bothered by things that go on and on. But this is of course completely different.’
“You can’t go wrong if you tell the truth.”
