This comes after TV personality recently sent fans into a frenzy as she broke his silence of several years about his £3million libel suit against Rebecca Vardy with a superb British Vogue to pull.
In the interview, Coleen called her nemesis, 41, “strange” and said his “perverted” texts read out in court made her sick.
Rebekah had taken Coleen to court over an accusation that she leaked details of Coleen’s private life to the press after Coleen staged an elaborate sting operation to find out who was passing stories about her to The Sun.
She told Vogue how she came up with a plot to outsmart the leaker, inserting fake stories into her private account and making them visible only on Rebekah’s account, but she didn’t tell anyone what she was doing, not even a lawyer.
Coleen said: “I feel like a lot of people still don’t understand what happened, from start to finish. But what I said in that message, I still maintain today.
The WAG revealed that his plan to publicly share the leaker on Instagram in October 2019 was his.
She said: “In the night I started to think about what I was going to do. I just wanted these stories to stop.
But didn’t she do a classic launch of the Notes application at 3 a.m.?
Ready for training: The WAG, 37, showed off a casual attitude as she donned a demure pink sports top and black lycra leggings.
Relaxed: To keep warm, Coleen threw on a chunky puffer jacket and kept it warm with a pair of white and black trainers for her outing.
She laughed. ‘No. I like to have a pen and paper – a pencil and rubber, actually, so I can erase it. So I started writing down what I wanted to say and the next morning I published it. It was the start of something I never expected.
Coleen said she didn’t tell anyone what she was about to do. ‘No. (The role) my friends and family were very surprised by my (as it was) posting of the message.
She didn’t show it to Wayne or her mother, or, despite much conjecture, to a lawyer. She woke up, typed it up and put it on the Internet. Then she took Kai and one of his friends indoor skydiving.
She felt empowered and relieved that she had kept her plans to go public a secret, saying, “If I want to do sunnin’ – and I know I will be talked out of doing it – I’m just going to go ahead and do it . he. I didn’t want anyone to tell me not to do it.
Coleen admitted that when Rebekah said she was consulting lawyers, she was scared.
She had not previously legalized her statement and had assumed that recounting what had happened to her was permitted.
She said: “You see people on social media calling people out in such a mean way and I thought I wasn’t that mean.” But his stomach turned.
Adding: “I’ve never been involved in a court case before, so for me it was scary.” What a horrible experience. What I dreaded most was going to court.
Coleen was both anxious and furious at being “dragged into court”, saying: “I found it hard not to let people know.
“It was so weird that first day, sitting on a bench together. It was so difficult in that courtroom… especially watching her on the stand. It was quite painful. I felt uncomfortable.
Big rival: It comes after the TV personality recently sent her fans into a frenzy as she broke her years-long silence over her £3million libel case against Rebekah Vardy (pictured)
Plot: She told Vogue how she came up with a plot to foil the person who leaked the stories, but she didn’t tell anyone what she was doing, not even a lawyer.
“Obviously she was going through this. “I thought, ‘Why did you put yourself in that position?’ It wasn’t pleasant to watch. To this day, she still can’t understand why Vardy sued her. She’s “weird”.
And Coleen revealed how she found out she had won the case, saying: “I had to go out to answer the phone call, so I’m sitting alone in my car in the middle of Manchester, in an industrial area. David Sherborne, his lawyer, came on the phone and said, “We won,” he said without any preparation.
She laughed: “I think all I did was swear for the entire fifteen-hour phone call.
“It was quite surreal to see how many people followed him. Not just footballers or girls. It was like everyone was reading it. All ages, all types. The positivity I got from it… I’m happy with it at least.
Coleen was awarded costs by the court and £800,000 of the total amount owed was payable immediately.
Although Coleen doesn’t seem to have any ill will towards Rebekah, she said: “I’m a forgive and forget person, I can’t be bothered with things happening all the time.” But it’s obviously totally different.
“You can’t go wrong if you tell the truth.”
