Coleen Nolan opened up about her new romance on Tuesday’s Loose Women.
The singer, 58, revealed about her secret boyfriend as the panel discussed how long you should give a new relationship, in the wake of Taylor Swift’s split from Maty Healy after just two months.
And while sharing her own experience, Coleen shared how she had someone new in her life and “couldn’t be happier” — almost a year after the breakup of her previous relationship came to light.

Coleen opened up to fellow panelists Ruth Langsford, Jane Moore and Gloria Hunniford, admitting that she was initially “freaked out” by the relationship after struggling to believe she deserved romance.
She also shared how she’d rushed into new partnerships in the past and purposely took it easy with her newest partner.
She explained, “It’s always been in the moment and we’ll be moving in together in a month or two. Well you know with Ray, I was pregnant…that was about five weeks! And when I met Shane when I was younger, it was instant.
And what’s happened since I got back into the dating scene is that I’ve been influenced by that. I grew up thinking that if it’s not that, it’s not good. If you don’t have that instant thing, it’s not right.”
Referring to her current romance, she continued, “And then gradually over time, with the person I’m with now… I hate talking about this.” The person I’m with now, it took longer and it’s my fault.
‘Cause I keep thinking, “I’m not used to this, I’m not used to someone loving me like you.”
“I’ve never believed I am because I’ve never been with anyone who makes me feel that 100%. And I’ve accepted that “I’m just super romantic and I want everything to be like a movie,” but it’s not.
“And that’s why they don’t hold my hand or bother me or compliment me, and actually I’ve met someone who does.”

She shared how she feels about her boyfriend’s romantic traits, saying, “At first it drove me nuts and now for the last couple of years I’ve been thinking ‘actually, you know what? Just accept it for once in your life and enjoy it because it’s what you were looking for”.
“Now that I’ve really opened up to it, I’ve never been happier!”
Coleen’s new romantic revelation comes 11 months after her split from ex-boyfriend Michael Jones.
Coleen and Michael – who works for a supermarket in the logistics branch – met on Tinder in 2021, and Coleen introduced him to the world during a joint appearance on her show last January.

However, a source later revealed to The sun that Coleen called off the relationship in April last year, with things reportedly “leaked out” between the pair.
A source told the publication, “Coleen and Michael were together for a little over a year and while they were happy at first, sparks eventually flew. They quietly broke up in April but have remained close.
“She’s looking forward to the future and possibly meeting someone new, but there’s no rush.”

They added: “Coleen is enjoying the single life and has said she will be going back to online dating soon to find her dream match.”
A spokesperson for Coleen confirmed the split, saying: “Coleen and Michael are no longer together, but remain good friends and are on good terms.”
Coleen divorced her second husband Ray Fensome in 2017 after 11 years of marriage. They share daughter Ciara.
She was previously married to EastEnders star Shane Richie, the father of her two sons, Jake Roche and Shane Roche Jr.
