Cole Palmer came under fire on Tuesday night for missing a sitter during Chelsea’s Carabao Cup tie with Middlesbrough.
Palmer had the chance to level the score at the end of the first half after Hayden Hackney put Michael Carrick’s side ahead in the 37th minute.
However, the 21-year-old midfielder fired the ball over the crossbar from five yards out after failing to connect with it.
