Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour set list leaked ahead of their Australian tour

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour is on its way back to Australia, but excited fans may already have a taste of what to expect when the British supergroup takes the stage.

A leaked setlist has been circulating online, revealing the potential line-up of songs that Chris Martin and his bandmates – Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion – could bring to their sold-out concerts Down Under.

With Coldplay known for adding a local flavor to their shows, Aussie fans are eagerly speculating whether the band will give a nod to the country’s music scene.

The band famously embraced You’re the Voice, John Farnham’s beloved anthem, during their 2009 performance at the Sound Relief concert in Sydney, where Farnham himself joined them on stage.

More recently, when Coldplay played Perth last year, Martin delighted the audience with two improvised tunes: Song For Australia and Song For Shane, the latter a moving tribute to his late friend Shane Warne.

‘Friends come, friends go. There are a few people you’re lucky to know. If I could, I would do it all again. Thanks for everything, Shane,” Martin serenaded the audience during the heartfelt performance.

Fans are hoping Song For Shane will return when Coldplay take over Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium for their upcoming shows.

As Coldplay returns, they are capitalizing on the success of their global Music of the Spheres tour.

Launched over two years ago, the tour has grown into a powerhouse, with approximately 10 million tickets sold worldwide and grossing more than $1.5 billion.

With the tour still going strong, some industry insiders believe it could surpass Taylor Swift’s Eras tour as the highest-grossing tour of all time when it ends in 2025.

Beyond the music, Coldplay’s concerts are known for their immersive visual experiences.

The band pioneered the use of LED wristbands during their shows, turning entire stadiums into a glowing sea of color.

For this tour, technology has been upgraded with eco-friendly, compostable materials, reflecting the band’s continued commitment to sustainability.

Despite the grand scale of their performances, Martin has been open about the pressures of being a stadium-sized performer.

The 47-year-old frontman recently admitted he has suffered from occasional ‘confidence crashes’, but opened up about how the tour has helped him find renewed joy in performing.

β€œIt used to be all about us, now it’s not about us at all,” Martin revealed in a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

‘Actually, we are just there to facilitate a meeting. It restores my faith in humanity every day I see people singing together. We love it.’
