Coffee Club Top Ryde Shopping Centre racial abuse: Woman targets Asian waiter at cafe

Shocking images have emerged of a white woman in a headscarf hurling racist slurs at an Asian cafe worker clearing tables.

The woman was caught on camera hurling insults at the waiter on Sunday morning while working at The Coffee Club in Top Ryde shopping center in north-west Sydney.

‘This is my country so fuck you Asian,’ he yelled.

‘Stay away you fucking Asian, stay away you fucking Asian.’

The footage, which was filmed by a bystander and shared on Reddit, showed the man trying to clear a table while the woman hurled vile insults at him.

‘[The] worker attempted to clear a table and was met with a barrage of racist slurs towards his Asian ethnicity (Chinese, virus spread, etc.)’, the video’s caption read.

“Pretty sad to see, especially in Sydney, Australia.”

The woman, dressed in a beige headscarf, then removed her luggage from the table and walked away from the waiter.

Another man, who was off camera, told the woman to “calm down” but also told her to “fuck off.”

The video has received more than 200 comments, many taking aim at the woman and calling her behavior “disgusting” and “vile”.

“As a white Australian male I am deeply disgusted and embarrassed by his behavior,” one person wrote.

Under the Racial Discrimination Act 1975, offensive comments in a public place made to insult, humiliate, offend or intimidate another person because of their race are considered illegal.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted The Coffee Club for comment.

The vile tirade was filmed by a shocked bystander and shared on Reddit. The woman is heard yelling at the man “this is my country so fuck you asian”.
