Cody Simpson’s admission about his relationship with Olympian girlfriend Emma McKeon

Cody Simpson has revealed he has undergone a huge change since meeting his Olympian girlfriend Emma McKeon.

The swimmer, 27, told Richard Wilkins on his The Apple and the Tree podcast that he has been “happier than ever” since he started dating Emma in 2022.

‘She’s one of the greatest. “I learn from her example that mutual understanding at home and in training is special,” he said.

“We met swimming, so it’s nice to be able to do it together.”

Cody’s sister Alli, 26, added that McKeon’s bubbly personality had seen her quickly accepted by the wider Simpson family.

‘Emma is just beautiful and Cody never seemed happier. That’s all we want, she’s sweet and he’s smiling again!’ she said.

Cody and Emma went ‘Instagram official’ with their relationship in July 2022, three months after they started dating in secret.

Last year the couple celebrated this by buying their first house together.

The pair spent $1.826 million on a love nest for families on the Gold Coast, proving their headline-making romance, which blossomed while training for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, has gotten pretty serious.

In November, Cody’s family hinted that wedding bells could be on the cards for the pop star and his golden girl.

It seems like it’s only a matter of time before the couple takes the plunge into marriage, if proud mom Angie and his sister Alli have anything to do with it.

Speaking to Ny Breaking Australia, Alli and Angie said they are hoping for a future engagement and that they love the Olympic swimmer.

‘We love Emma. The three of us went to the movies the other day and when Cody was at work we were like, ‘We’re stealing Emma,'” Alli said.

‘She just shines and she makes Cody very happy. It’s the most peaceful I’ve seen Cody.”
