And on Monday, Cody Simpson showed off his skills as he prepared to compete in the 2023 Australian Swimming Championships on the Gold Coast.

The athlete, 26, showed off his toned physique as he slipped into black swimming trunks and took to the blocks for a swim.

Cody’s bulging biceps and ripped torso were on full display as he stood by the pool wearing a swim cap and goggles.

The singer’s extensive tattoo collection was also on full display as he prepared to enter the zone.

Cody previously spoke to GQ Sports about his training schedule and admitted that he completely overhauled his lifestyle.

“A few years ago I went to bed at 5, now I get up at 5,” the pretty blonde told the publication.

He revealed that he now eats a high protein diet to fuel his body before hitting the pool.

“I start abruptly with an alarm clock at 5 a.m. and make a peanut butter and banana wrap,” he said, explaining his quick breakfast.

Cody said he has to be in the water by 6 a.m., four hours in the pool most days. He also does 60 to 90 minutes in the gym three times a week.

The singer said he usually has a protein shake with avocado on toast after practice and also tries to eat a lot of fish.

He said he tries to eat a lot of “vegetable and pescatarian” foods.

It comes after Cody recently teased some new music after performing a new tune on the guitar he composed.

Subtitled the clip “Salt,” he impressed his fans by using harmonics, beat chords, and riffs as he slid up and down the fingerboard of his acoustic guitar.

“Can listen all day long,” commented one fan.

“You should make a song out of it!!!!” another pleaded, while another follower said they listened to the video “on repeat.”
