Coachella fans rage Post Malone and Bad Bunny suffer a technical gaffe during their joint set
Post Malone and Bad Bunny appeared on the Coachella stage on Sunday for a crossover performance to close out the weekend of music, but suffered a technical blunder.
The two rappers took the stage in front of the enthusiastic audience, but were told during the performance that their sound was lost.
As fans looked on awkwardly in confusion, only guitar plucks and a faint voice could be heard from the stage.
Many took to Twitter to debrief the moment, joking that whoever worked on the sound engineering team was “fired.”
In an effort to make up for the missed performance, the two hitmakers decided to film a version of the song they were about to sing and share it on Instagram for fans to still enjoy.

Videos shared on social media show crowds waiting for the duo to start, appearing confused as no chanting could be heard.
Despite the audience hearing some guitar picks from Post Malone, real name Austin Richard Post, no audio from Bad Bunny could be heard.
Furious festival-goers took to Twitter to debrief the situation, joking that someone is being fired, with one writing: ‘The audio person who is being glared at will definitely be fired’.
“Whoever was in charge of Bad Bunny audio at Coachella gets fired! I really missed that Bad Bunny x Post Malone’.
“No matter how much these people pay, there shouldn’t be any problems. SMH,’ repeated another.
While some were convinced there was a deeper meaning behind the issues, they suggested they’d forgotten about the track when a third tweeted, “Only audio issues? It seems more Post Malone ‘difficulties’ on stage’.
But to make up for the lost gig, Post Malone and Bad Bunny took to Instagram to share a video of what would have been.
While filming themselves singing the crossover, they wrote: ‘since last night due to technical difficulties we couldn’t perform this part as we wanted, here’s a little bit from when we rehearsed it for the show… ✨ We still love it enjoyed’

While unconfirmed, Bad Bunny is rumored to have dropped claims of a romance between him and Kendall Jenner during the set.
Speculation is rife as the pair were even seen together at the festival, with Kendall receiving a sweet whisper in her ear from Bad Bunny when the rumored pair showed off a PDA at Coachella.
The 27-year-old supermodel looked smitten as her rumored rapper beau leaned over and spoke a mysterious message into her ear.
Bad Bunny’s mouth was covered with a bandana and the pair appeared to have their security detail behind them.
The pair have reportedly been an item since February in what appears to be a major uptick for Jenner after her two-year relationship with Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker came to an end.
And when Bad Bunny took the stage with Post Malone, the latter follows his concerns about his well-being recently during his Australian tour.
The singer raised eyebrows at his show in Sydney in February when he started shaking and fidgeting awkwardly during a rendition of his hit song, I fall Apart.

Viral footage from the performance shows Malone bizarrely shaking his arms, rubbing his skin and fiddling with his t-shirt as he belts out the lyrics.
Another clip shows the heavily tattooed star bending over and balancing the microphone on his lips.
Some fans have voiced their concerns online, with one tweeting, “I really hope he stays clean. Some movements worry me,” while another suggested, “Maybe it’s like a nervous tick?”
Another wrote: “Looks like he has anxiety. I do the same with my shirts when I’m crazy. I hope he’s okay.’
