A CNN segment discussing Joe Biden’s bad moves devolved into a shouting match between two guests.
Scott Jennings, who served as a special assistant to President George W. Bush, was a guest on OutFront on Tuesday to discuss Biden’s competence.
He clashed with fellow guest Jamal Simmons, the former communications director for Vice President Kamala Harris.
“You’re okay with Hunter Biden chairing meetings of the top White House staff? You’re okay with this?” Jennings shouted, before Simmons responded, “Why are you yelling at me?”
Jennings discussed the troubling report on President Biden’s cognitive abilities and another report on how his son Hunter Biden has handled a number of White House meetings.

CNN commentator Jennings recounted how Biden attributed his poor performance during the debates to his travel schedule.
“This is a great day,” he said. “First, the New York Times reports that he’s been missing meetings.
“This is happening more and more. Number two, we found out today that a criminal and a crack addict is now attending meetings of the highest staff of the White House.
“And third, the president is with his own donors tonight, blaming an overseas trip that ended 12 days before the debate for his disastrous performance on Thursday.”
Jennings claimed the Biden administration has “gone off the rails.”
Simmons, however, pointed to Donald Trump’s criminal convictions for falsifying corporate records and the prosecution he faces for withholding government documents after he left office.
“Are we sure Scott wasn’t talking about the criminal who kept the classified documents in his bathroom at Mar-a-Lago?” he asked.

“Because there’s a criminal we haven’t talked about tonight.”
But Jennings started to raise his voice and said, “Are you comfortable, Jamal? Are you comfortable with Hunter Biden chairing meetings of the top White House staff?
“Do you think this is good? Do you think this is good?”
Simmons responded, “Why are you yelling at me?”
Jennings, however, continued his tirade, saying, “I’m asking you. We’re talking about Joe Biden — we’re talking about Joe Biden tonight, admitting to his own donors — people in your party — that he can’t run and campaign.
“And you want to talk about the Mar-a-Lago documents case, which doesn’t go to trial until November.
“This is the sitting president. You worked for him. I want to know if you were in a senior staff meeting, would you want Hunter Biden looking over your shoulder? That’s my question.”

Simmons responded by arguing that MAGA Republicans like Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene are trying to take away the freedoms of women and other groups.
“That’s not what they want,” he said. “And that’s why I think Trump is still going to be in trouble when Election Day comes around.”
The heated debate came after Biden blamed his poor performance on his travels around the world ahead of Thursday’s disastrous debate.
The 81-year-old president made the pledge Tuesday night during a fundraiser in the upscale Virginia suburb of McLean, Washington DC.
He told the crowd that he was “not very smart” to “travel around the world a couple of times” before his showdown with the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump.
“I decided to travel around the world a couple of times… shortly before the debate… I didn’t listen to my staff… and then I almost fell asleep on the podium,” the president said.
He added: “It’s not an excuse, it’s an explanation.”
