Two other people were taken to hospital for observation.
The death occurred at Soul Barn, which is advertised on its Facebook page as an “Alternative & Holistic Health Service.”
A notice on Sunday said it would be closed for business and that people booked for the ‘sound healing’ sessions would be refunded.
Clunes made national news last week due to another tragic death.
Hannah McGuire, 33km north of Ballarat, west of Melbourne, had called Clunes her home before she was allegedly murdered by her ex-partner.
Lachlan Young, 21, has been charged with murder.
Soul Barn owner Michelle Mullins declined to comment when contacted by the newspaper on Tuesday.
