Democratic strategist James Carville delivered an extraordinary verdict on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and other Republicans who disrupted President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, dismissing them as “white trash.”
Greene led the way Tuesday night by calling Biden a “liar” during the political stage.
‘I tell people I have the equivalent of a PhD. in the white transology, and you saw real white trash on display,’ Carville, a former adviser to Bill Clinton, told MSNBC on Wednesday.
And let me say something about… Marjorie Taylor Greene. She dresses like white trash.

“He could do a good job of dressing up when she’s not announcing her white trash status with her own clothes and acting.”
James Carville called Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and other Republicans “white trash” during an interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber on “The Beat” on Wednesday.
Greene distinguished himself by appearing in a white coat, decorated with a fur collar.
One attendee said it was a visual reminder of something that would not be mentioned during the speech, presumably the white Chinese spy balloon.
Biden appeared to set a trap for Republicans during his speech, accusing them of wanting to abolish Medicare and Social Security.
Greene was one of the most prominent voices shouting objections.
It allowed Biden one of his strongest moments of the night when he was able to say that it looked like the Republicans were now committed to keeping the programs.
“I’m glad to see…no, I’m telling you, I’m enjoying the conversion,” he said with a smile.
Carville said many Republicans had plans to cut entitlement programs.
“President Biden is 1,000 percent right on this, and right to move forward,” he said.
“And I thought he had a great night last night and it’s just… it’s just that the level of white trash in the Republican Party is staggering.”

Even House Speaker Kevin McCarthy seemed embarrassed by his party’s behavior and appeared to shut some members up during his outbursts.
It has focused on a plan put together by Senator Rick Scott that would mean all legislation expires after five years so Congress would have to pass it again. That would include Medicare and Social Security.
Biden did not name Scott on Tuesday. But he did it a day later, during a speech in Wisconsin.
“Many of you have seen that we had a lively discussion with my Republican friends,” he said, referring to Tuesday night’s speech while addressing an audience at a North American Laborers’ International Union training center.
“They seemed surprised when I mentioned the plans of some of their members and their caucus to cut Social Security.”
