CaShawna Wright, 30, and her son Cruse, 1, were at the Los Angeles Zoo on February 17 when they were unexpectedly given an exclusive experience at the orangutan exhibit.

Wright recalled his son’s excitement when he saw the orangutans and the moment he tossed his bottle into the enclosure and saw it bounce in the pond.

“They had to put the orangutan under observation, and it’s doing amazing,” Wright said. confirmed. “She wasn’t sick or anything, but it’s just her protocol, because she got something weird that wasn’t part of her diet.”

TikToks couldn’t believe how the orangutan reacted to the bottle and praised his reaction.

“That orangutan is officially smarter than me,” one person wrote.
