A cleaning expert has revealed how to properly clean your armpits, explaining exactly how to scrub away yesterday’s deodorant.
Maria Futher, or Mrs. Sweat On TikTok she regularly shares her tips and tricks to get everything from your head to your toes spick and span.
Now, the US-based content creator and founder of hygiene brand Kaia has explained how to make your armpits smell better than ever.

She captioned the clip: “Most people don’t wash their armpits properly, this is the right way.”
Madame Sweat started the clip by noting that she can guarantee you’ll still have yesterday’s deodorant on if you wash your armpits with some “Tutti Frutti soap.”
As she pretended to scrub her armpits with her hand, she said, “If you wash your armpits like this with some Tutti Frutti soap, I can guarantee you still have yesterday’s deodorant on.”
She further noted that while showering, you should clean your armpits by “lathering” with an “antibacterial soap” for 30 seconds to get them thoroughly clean.
Madame Sweat said that if you have armpit hair, you should “really get in there and get rid of yesterday’s deodorant.”
She then revealed what ingredients to look for in a soap.
“A good antibacterial soap contains apple cider vinegar, salt and charcoal,” she added at the end of the clip.
