Claudia Oshry revealed she has been ‘always hungry’ since quitting trendy weight loss drug Ozempic last November.
The 29-year-old comedian-podcaster famously lost 30kg from her 6-foot-4 frame after she started taking the Novo Nordisk brand semaglutide injection in September 2022.
‘I’m so hungry all the time and I’m always looking for good treats because I’m still trying to lose weight, but on my own. I’m always looking for snacks and things to fill me up,” Claudia continued TikTok Tuesday.
‘I can’t stay full. It’s impossible. I just had a 12-ounce steak. A 12-ounce steak and I’m hungry, so I eat popcorn. How do we stay full?’
Claudia proudly posed with her bag of SKINNYPOP ‘Sweet & Salty’ Kettle Corn, which contains 140 calories and seven grams of fat per serving (two and a half cups).

In September, Oshry — who admitted that Ozempic was “not a permanent thing” — revealed that one of the side effects she experienced was “hair loss like crazy,” but she “acted quickly and really got it under control.”
The Lean In star didn’t tell her 3.5 million social media followers that she was on Type 2 diabetes for almost a year because she was too “ashamed.”
Claudia confessed on the August 18 episode of her Patreon podcast The Toast, “I was a little embarrassed. Like, “Oh my God, I have to inject myself with something to get my fat and stop eating. Other people can do it without it, why can’t I?”
Last Friday, Oshry on display her current figure in a one-piece swimsuit while vacationing on the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy.
Other celebrities who have admitted to using Ozempic include Elon Musk, Chelsea Handler, Amy Schumer, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Lauren Manzo, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Fessler, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Remi Bader.
Obesity expert Dr. Andrew Kraftson said most people taking these medications will reach a plateau around 18 months after starting treatment.
“You might tell someone that they might lose 15 percent of their weight with Ozempic or Wegovy.” But once they get to 15 percent, it’s not like they’re saying, “Oh, now I’m happy, great,” Kraftson told the newspaper. New York Times last September.
“I’m not trying to come across as the dream killer, but sometimes you really wonder, what is the hole we’re trying to fill? And will additional weight loss really fill this?”
Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro and Victoza should only be prescribed to severely overweight patients suffering from type 2 diabetes – and only one of them (Wegovy) is approved for weight loss by the FDA in 2021.
Ozempic may cost $25/month for qualified patients who have insurance, but it costs anywhere from $600 to $1,300 for a month’s supply of four weekly pens out of pocket.
