Claudia Oshry, 29, says she used ‘natural’ diabetes drug Ozempic before her dramatic 70-pound weight loss

Claudia Oshry admitted she used Ozempic to achieve her dramatic weight loss on the most recent episode of her podcast The Toast.

“The thing that has been like harrowing — like chasing me everywhere — everyone wants to know if I’m on Ozempic, Mounjaro, semaglutide, and the answer is obvious. Yes, of course,” she said on Wednesday.

She added, “You thought they were going to make a weight loss drug and I wouldn’t take it? You’re stupid. Of course, I’ll fucking take it.’

And the 29 year old admitted she was embarrassed to admit it at first but it wasn’t just about taking Ozempic it was the fact she got to a place where she had so much weight to lose that it was an option used to be .

“The reason I’m nervous about sharing (how much weight I lost) is because I’m embarrassed that I got to a place where I had 70 pounds to lose,” she said.

Claudia, a comedian known for her @girlwithnojob Instagram, said she didn’t think she was “that big” because she was “so delusional.”

“I could cry, I’m so mad at myself,” she admitted, bursting into tears.

“I think when I started I was a little embarrassed,” she added. “Like, ‘Oh my God, I have to inject myself with something to get my fat to stop eating.’

‘Other people can do without it, why not me?’ In the beginning, my decision not to share was rooted in a bit of shame,” she explains.

And now that she’s lost 70 pounds, seeing pictures of her former self makes her emotional.

“Looking back at photos and seeing myself through this new lens makes me sad. I have very mixed feelings,” she said.

“Being a fat woman is one of the hardest things to do in this world. (But) I feel like I handled it the best I could and I’m proud of the fact that I was able to live a full life (before losing weight).”

During the hour-long podcast chat with her sister Jackie Oshry, the author of Girl With no Job berated Andy Cohen, 55, for insulting people.

The Watch What Happens Live host previously joked about several Real Housewives taking the drug.

“I think the way influencers, podcasters, Andy Cohen, the way they talk about it is so fat-phobic and so harmful because it’s created this layer of shame,” Claudia said.

“Everyone says, ‘Just stop eating,’ like, ‘Oh, I have to stop eating? That never occurred to me,” she added.

It’s impossible for some people. The main cause of obesity is heredity, you are predisposed to be fat or you are not. If you don’t have that gene, you don’t know what it’s like.’
