Claudia Galleguillos: Tributes pour in for ‘selfless’ motorcyclist after she’s killed in horrific head-on crash
Tributes are flowing for a 41-year-old motorcyclist who died in a head-on crash on the Gold Coast.
Claudia Galleguillos, 41, was riding her motorcycle on Guinea Creek Road in Elanora when she collided with an SUV on Thursday afternoon. She died on the spot.
Paramedics also treated a 48-year-old woman who was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
The police are investigating the accident.

Ms. Galleguillos is remembered as ‘one of the most selfless people in the world’
Mrs. Galleguillos is remembered as “one of the most selfless people in the world.”
Her cousin Jesse Bryant told the Gold Coast Bulletin that her family last saw her a few days before the crash and that she was “in a happy mood.”
“She was always so helpful and she was one of the most selfless people I could have ever met,” he said.
Ms. Galleguillos’ brother, Felipe Galleguillos, has started a GoFundMe to help pay for his sister’s funeral.
“I still cannot believe that I once again have to rely on the help and support of friends and loved ones to lay my beautiful and loving sister Claudia to rest,” he said.
