Clara Amfo looked stunning in a striped bikini as she shared highlights from her Thailand getaway on Monday.

The 38-year-old Radio 1 DJ looked happier than ever as she gave fans a glimpse of her action-packed trip where she ringed in the New Year with friends.

She flaunted her toned physique in a red and white bikini, teamed with gold necklaces and a pair of chunky gold earrings.

The former Strictly star also shared a host of glowing snaps of her New Year’s Eve celebration with a few friends, as well as plenty of clips from the places she visited.

The London-born host began hosting a new dating series called Write In The Stars, which premiered on Discovery+ in November 2022.

The premise sees twelve unmarried strangers in a Greek villa being matched into six couples by three of the world’s top astrologers, based on their natal charts alone.

The TV host said she is confident her new show has the edge over rival dating shows like Love Island, describing it as “Love Island meets Married At First Sight but with horoscopes.”

“The intention is about lasting relationships, but also about how to be in a relationship in a healthy way.”

The BBC Radio 1 presenter, a proud Gemini, described the filming as “intense” and believes that, whether you’re a fan of astrology or not, “people will enjoy it.”

“One of the things about relationships is that they are a mirror to you: they show you the best things about yourself, but they also show you the not-so-good things about yourself. I think all of those things are dealt with head-on on the show.

‘Basically, they’re getting intense relationship training that you can probably pay thousands of dollars for. [but] they get it for free in a beautiful house in Greece. It’s interesting how it all unfolds.

In an exclusive interview with Subway, Clara recounted when she was offered the role: ‘Honestly, my reaction was: ‘I would love to do it.’ In my experience, it’s so much a part of our culture now, the zodiac signs. It is part of our lexicon.

Clara added that the show will present the good things about each star, but also the not so good things.

‘That’s what I think really works on the show. Not everything is covered in sugar,” she said.
