Claire Foy cuts a stylish figure in a striped blue jumpsuit as she steps into New York – when it turns out that a stalker who ‘left her terrified in her own home’ entered the UK illegally

Claire Foy looked stylish when she was spotted arriving at the Robin Williams Center in New York City on Tuesday.

The actress, 38, slipped into a blue striped jumpsuit for the outing, which hugged every inch of her stunning figure.

Claire tied the outfit around her slim waist and added extra height with a pair of red perspex heels.

The stunner accentuated her features with a warm makeup palette complete with lots of mascara and a nude lip.

And lugged her belongings in a black purse and wore her dark locks in a low ponytail.

Brit Claire was later seen leaving the venue clutching a takeaway tea in her hand.

The Robin Williams Center for Entertainment and Media is a 4,000-square-foot screening room and educational space that opened in October 2016.

The venue is named after beloved comedian Robin Williams who committed suicide at his San Francisco Bay home in 2014.

The outing comes after it emerged that a man who had been stalking the actress and sending her thousands of explicit messages had illegally entered the UK.

The ‘obsessive’ Jason Penrose, 49, posed as a Hollywood producer and repeatedly targeted Claire – at one point he showed up at her house.

The American stalker bombarded her publicist Emma Jackson with more than 1,000 explicit emails, including one that referred to rape between February 19, 2021 and February 7, 2022.

Penrose appeared at Wood Green Crown Court on 28 November, speaking only to confirm his name. Judge David Aaronberg KC warned him that he could face eviction if convicted.

Penrose was told he risked at least 30 months behind bars for his ongoing stalking campaign.

Penrose launched a “campaign of consistent stalking” by sending thousands of explicit emails, eight phone calls and going to the star’s home.

In emails he shared with the court, he sent graphic messages saying that Claire was raped and how he wished she could be his girlfriend.

Penrose also contacted Claire’s sister by email and her ex-boyfriend by text.

On December 17, 2021, the Golden Globe-winning actress was shocked to discover that Penrose had turned up at her home and repeatedly knocked on her door, the Thames Magistrates Court heard.

Claire suffered sleepless nights and said the ordeal has affected “every aspect” of her life. At one point, she begged friends and industry colleagues not to tag her in photos in case Penrose used them to track her movements.

The night he went to Claire’s address, the doorphone was answered by her daughter and Penrose said, “It’s Jason, I’m outside.”

The stalking left the actress “genuinely afraid for her safety and terrified and helpless in her own home.”
