Claire Danes, 44, shows off baby bump as she joins Lizzy Caplan at Fleishman Is In Trouble FYC event

Claire Danes arrived in style at Tuesday’s Fleishman Is In Trouble FYC event as she donned a long black dress that showed off her baby bump.

The 44-year-old actress – who is expecting her third child – was joined by her costar Lizzy Caplan, 40, with whom she posed on the red carpet.

The My So-Called Life alum glowed as she smiled and placed a hand on her bulging stomach.

Her dress had cap sleeves that flashed her toned arms and the piece’s skirt had soft, flattering pleats.

Danes and Caplan co-starred with Jesse Eisenberg, Adam Brody and more in the 2022 limited series.

The show centers on “recently divorced 40-something Toby Fleishman (Eisenberg), who dives into the brave new world of dating with the kind of success he never had in his youth,” according to a studio synopsis of the series, “before he got married at the end of medical school.’

“But just at the start of his first summer of sexual freedom, his ex-wife, Rachel (Danes), disappears, leaving him with the kids and no idea where she is or if she plans to return.”

The synopsis continued, “As he balances parenthood, the return of old friends (Caplan and Brody), a long overdue promotion at the hospital, and all the eligible women Manhattan has to offer, he realizes he’ll never be able to figure out what happened to Rachel until he can take a more honest look at what happened to their marriage in the first place.”

The show also features Christian Slater, Josh Radnor, Meara Mahoney Gross, Maxim Swinton, Michael Gaston, Ralph Adriel, Shi Ne Nielson and Joy Suprano.

Last fall, Lizzy stopped by the Today show to talk about her role in the limited series, which debuted on Hulu.

“It’s based on the novel of the same name and… if you like the book, it’s such a real adaptation, I think you’ll like this,” she said.

She described her character Libby Epstein as “struggling with suburban life.” It’s not what she was supposed to do. She had a job as a writer at a magazine and she quit her job to move to the suburbs and raise her family, and it’s suffocating her.”

She told interviewers that if viewers tune in to the eight-episode series, “it will make you laugh and absolutely make you cry — like an ugly cry.”
