Claim To Fame: Bianca Roberts gets eliminated first after wrong guess during season three premiere and reveals connection to Robin Roberts
Bianca Roberts revealed her famous family connection when she was eliminated during Wednesday’s season premiere of Claim To Fame on ABC.
The season three premiere episode, Almost Unfamous, was once again hosted by Kevin Jonas, 36, and his younger brother Franklin Jonas, 23.
The show opened with Kevin riding a motorcycle, with Franklin in the sidecar, as they approached a Hollywood estate and met the 11 contestants vying for the $100,000 grand prize.
Each contestant introduced themselves by revealing personal details consisting of βtwo truths and a lie,β while attempting to hide their relationship with a famous family member.
Bianca shared that the highest honor her famous family member ever received was the Peabody Award.

βAm I supposed to know what that is? I should probably know what that is,β Mackenzie said in a confessional.
The first challenge was a talent show where the 11 contestants had to show three different talents and try to fool their competitors.
Gracie Lou, who wore red cowboy boots, wanted to maintain the illusion that her uncle was a country singer, so she sang and played guitar at the talent show.
“I think Gracie Lou is related to Reba McEntire. And it doesn’t hurt that she looks almost exactly like her,” Danny said in a confessional.
Gracie Lou was chosen as the winner of the talent show and was given immunity from elimination, as well as a clue about a contestant of her choice.
The two worst performers on the talent show were Bianca and Miguel. The other players voted during the first betting round of the season on which of them would be most at stake.
Miguel panicked at the thought of having to go home and said he really needed the money.
He prayed for help and also said to himself, ‘Just don’t cry on camera. Don’t cry on camera. Don’t cry on camera.’

Miguel told Adam, hiding his eyes with his arm, that his mother was in the hospital when he was younger and that a famous relative had helped her recover and stand on her own two feet again.
Gracie Lou decided to get a clue about Naomi and guessed that the clues spelled ‘Brat pack’, but she couldn’t find an answer to the four cups of coffee and the four croissants.
The candidates were allowed to vote and decided that Bianca would be the gambler.
She chose Shane and they went to battle.
βI believe your claim to fame isβ¦ Forest Whitaker,β Bianca said.

Then a countdown was played on a video screen, but when it turned out there was a burning film reel, Bianca was wrong.
βI still love you,β Shane told Bianca.
Then everyone turned back to the video screen to find out who Bianca’s claim to fame was.
βI’m Robin Roberts and this is my niece, Bianca,β Robin, 63, said in a pre-recorded video.
She added: ‘Oh, Bianca, you’ve always been something special. But now the fact that you’re stepping outside your comfort zone, staking your claim to fame, who would have thought? Your family thought so, because you’ve always been the star of our family. Of your aunt Robin.’

Bianca then revealed that her real name is Bianca Roberts and that Robin was her aunt.
“I never thought I would be the first one out. No way. I played it well. I didn’t embarrass the family,” Bianca said.
βAnd I think my aunt Robin would be super proud of me,β Bianca said.
The episode ends with the remaining contestants sitting around a table and Dedrick reveals that his last name is Jackson, which Naomi picks up on.
“He said it so quickly and then tried to cover it up. I think it was totally accidental. He really looks like one of Michael Jackson’s brothers. Plus, everyone knows Michael Jackson is in The Wiz and the Scarecrow is on the fucking clue wall. He’s related to a real icon. My head is spinning,” Naomi said.
