Cindy Crawford gets into the tequila business! Model helps create Jalapeno version for husband Rande Gerber and George Clooney’s Casamigos: ‘For everyone who likes it hot!’
Cindy Crawford has dipped her toe into the tequila business.
The supermodel has collaborated with her husband Rande Gerber as well as colleagues Founders of Casamigos Tequila George Clooney and Mike Meldman to introduce Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila.
Note the change from Casamigos to Casamigas.
It is the newest addition to the Casamigos family.
‘Inspired by Cindy’s favorite drink, Casamigas is an ultra-premium, 100% blue weber agave jalapeño tequila that is naturally flavored with jalapeños to create a spicy yet balanced tequila with just the right level of heat,’ said the press release.
“As much as I love Casamigos, my drink for a fun night is a skinny, spicy Casamigos margarita,” Cindy said Monday.
‘Casamigas Jalapeño makes it so much easier. It’s Casamigos with a kick!’ she added.
Cindy and Rande have been married since 1998 and have two children: models Kaia and Presley Gerber.

Cindy also said on Instagram, “We are so excited to announce the launch of CASAMIGAS – a spicy jalapeño tequila for anyone who likes spicy!”
In the ad, Cindy wore a denim shirt with matching jeans and black boots as she sat near the photoshoot equipment.
This new launch is personal for both Cindy and Rande.
“Cindy has clearly been part of the Casamigos journey from day one, and I’m thrilled that she can now bring her special touches to Casamigas,” said Gerber.
“It’s been over six years in the making.”
Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave from the rich clay soil of Jalisco, Mexico.
Using Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Casamigas is naturally flavored with jalapeños to create a spicy yet balanced tequila, perfect for a spicy margarita or a chilled shot.
Casamigas Jalapeño has clean taste notes of spicy jalapeños, hints of citrus and sweet agave. The spicy jalapeño notes provide a pleasant kick that is balanced with a soft, citrusy finish.
Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila features the same classic bottle design from Rande.

With the label, also designed by Rande, Cindy playfully breaks through the traditional label with a fresh and fun design.
Flames of fire, a jalapeño and Cindy’s signature lips and beauty mark are outlined on the label, along with a red ‘A’ crossing out the ‘O’ in Casamigos.
The Casamigos founders’ initials are also playfully crossed out with the addition “CC,” and Cindy’s signature is added between those of George Clooney and Rande Gerber, completing the design.
Casamigas Jalapeño Tequila is now available nationwide and is offered in key sizes of 750 ml and 1 liter with average suggested retail prices of $49.99 and 1 liter $60.99.
