Cindy Crawford, 58, and daughter Kaia Gerber, 22, exude glamour as they take prime seats at Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony
Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber radiated glamour as they took their best seats on the Seine for the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
Both have worked extensively as models in Paris, a city considered one of the four fashion capitals of the Western world.
Kaia, 22, wore her enviably petite frame in a tight strapless fossil gray dress, which fit perfectly and accentuated her tiny waist.
She and her mother sat on the banks of the Seine, a perfect spot to watch the show, much of which would take place on the water.
Despite their summery outfits, Cindy and Kaia were both prepared with umbrellas for the downpour that marred the outdoor event.

Cindy, one of the reigning supermodels of the ’90s, was the picture of elegance in a pair of high-waisted white pants that accentuated her long legs.
She paired the pants with a deep-cut, sleeveless, dull blue top, which created a hint of cleavage and gave the crowd her showbiz vibe.
In a video Cindy posted to her Instagram page on Saturday, she and Kaia were seen happily chatting in their seats before the show started.
Her album included a photo of the mother and daughter strolling through the rainy streets with umbrellas in their hands.
Cindy occasionally paired her outfit with a bright red hoodie and an Omega baseball cap, also as a concession to the bad weather.
“What a kickoff!” Cindy wrote in her Instagram caption, closing with a touch of patriotic fervor: “Let’s go, team USA!”
They were present at a rollercoaster of crazy performances that caused great division among audiences around the world.
Lady Gaga divided opinion with her performance of Mon truc en plumes (My Thing with Feathers), a song made popular by the late dancer and camp icon Zizi Jeanmaire.

While some viewers praised her for having the courage to sing in another language, others criticized her poor pronunciation.
However, Celine Dion received much praise for her stunning comeback performance in front of the Eiffel Tower at the end of the ceremony.
She sang emotionally the ballad Hymne à l’amour (Hymn to Love), made famous by Edith Piaf, the legendary queen of French song.
It was Celine’s first live performance in four years, after withdrawing from the spotlight due to her debilitating battle with stiff person syndrome.
