Hollywood actress Blanca Blanco celebrated Cinco de Mayo at a pool.
Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration on May 5, commemorating the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, under General Ignacio Zaragoza.
The brunette beauty wore a skimpy yellow bikini that made the most of her assets as she worked on her California sunburn while lying on a colorful blanket.
The Tale Of Tales actress – who was last in Beverly Hills over Oscar weekend – also sipped a canned Corona while trying to relax on a Friday morning.
The author of the heartbreaking memoir Breaking The Mold wore her dark hair back and pink lipstick as she posed for Filip Shobot.
The star, who will next play therapist Alma Gomez in the movie Ash And Bone 2, also shared with DailyMail.com her top tips for staying slim as we head into bikini weather.

She has also posed for Swedish brand Chiquelle with advertisements in Elle magazine Sweden for May issue 2.
Blanca said staying slim has a lot to do with consistent exercise, even if the routine is light.
“I try to exercise for an hour a day, five days a week,” said the Mission: Possible star.
‘Cardio and strength training are the keywords. I use weights to stay tight. Ten pound dumbbells are great for toning.
“Some weeks are challenging to keep up with the routine. I try to be kind to myself when I can’t do a routine, and know that even one day or five minutes of exercise a day is 100% better than nothing.”
“Sometimes I just walk around my neighborhood for 15 minutes when I don’t have time to go to the gym.
‘I also have a walking app, so walking to the car or going to the gas station helps, everything is correct.’
And she’s got some diet tricks, too.
“I eat grilled foods over fried foods. It is healthier for the heart and lowers cholesterol.

“High cholesterol is in my family gene. So I try to work on what I can that is within my control. I love fries, so sometimes it’s not easy.’
And she excludes meat and sugar.
“Since two months I have decided to go on a pescetarian lifestyle, which is a temporary change.
That means no meat, no chicken and only seafood. I like fish so this works for me. I often order the grilled salmon at restaurants with a side of vegetables.
‘Also I don’t eat sugar, so no desserts, no cake, no ice cream, no thanks! It’s just not worth it to me. Every time I eat dessert, I have to train for another hour and that’s too much time.

Not fun, but the rewards are great! She told DailyMail.com that she has cut meat and sugar from her diet for now
Pass on the pineapple: “I only eat sugar from fruits, which is great because I like apples and strawberries.” I think it’s important to detox the body from time to time and it also gives a shock to the metabolism. I feel less bloated, more regular and more energized,” she noted

‘I think it’s important to detoxify the body from time to time and also to shock the metabolism. I feel less bloated, more regular and more energetic.’
And she says the advice to drink more water actually works.
‘Not only is it good for our organs, but I notice that it also helps my skin. Day pimples. The best way to know if we’re drinking enough is to take your body weight and divide it by two, the result is the number of grams we need for that day.’
And she also shared that reducing stress is also very helpful for weight loss.
“Take it one day at a time,” said the star who grew up in Washington state.
‘Stress can get in our way, but every small step we take makes a difference. Keep it simple! Be kind to yourself.’
