Cillian Murphy’s son Aran, 16, is set to follow in his father’s footsteps after ‘signing to the same Hollywood firm as Ryan Gosling and Angelina Jolie’

Cillian Murphy’s son Aran will follow in his father’s footsteps after signing with the same Hollywood company as many A-listers.

The Oppenheimer star, 47, shares Aran, 16, and eldest son Malachy, 18, with wife Yvonne McGuinness.

While Malachy has shown an interest in music, Aran wants to learn the ropes from his famous father and join the world of Hollywood.

Aran is tapped for the top spot after recently ‘signing’ with Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern, who have previously worked with Ryan Gosling, Will Smith and Angelina Jolie.

According to The mirror, a source said: ‘Aran is still young, but already has a great team behind him. The future looks very bright indeed.’

Cillian’s lookalike son Aran will make his film debut in Taika Waititi’s Klara And The Sun.

He landed a role in the Thor director’s new film, an adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s New York Times bestseller.

The teen joins actress Jenna Ortega, 21, and Amy Adams, 47, in the A-list cast on Wednesday.

Cillian paved the way for Aran after winning Best Actor at the Golden Globes for Oppenheimer, having been cast in the lead role following his supporting roles in five of director Christopher Nolan’s films.

And while it took years for the Peaky Blinders actor to have his big Hollywood moment, his son has had a short track as he is set to make his feature film debut.

Aran will star as a character named Rick, a best friend and neighbor of Josie (played by Mia Tharia).

The dystopian science fiction book has been adapted into a film by screenwriter Dahvi-Waller.

On Wednesday, actress Jenna, 21, stars as lead actress Klara, an artificial solar-powered friend designed to stave off loneliness who is chosen by Josie, a sickly child, to be her companion.

Klara embarks on a quest to save Josie and those who love her from heartbreak.

Cillian and his family now live in Dublin after he reportedly spent almost £1.7 million on a Victorian mansion.

The four-storey house, originally built in 1863, is located in south County Dublin and has six double bedrooms and four reception rooms.

Although now based in Ireland, his sons were born in London and remained there until 2015, with the actor joking that they moved because his sons developed “very posh English accents.”

‘We have been in London for fourteen years, both our children were born there. We didn’t come back to Dublin until 2015,” he told the Armchair Expert podcast.

“It’s kind of an Irish story, you know, to go away, do your thing and then come home. That seems to be a common story for the Irish people.

“We wanted the kids to be Irish, and they were about that age where they were young teenagers and had a very posh English accent, and I didn’t appreciate that so much. Our parents are of a certain age and it was just a nice time to come home.”
