Ciara got a sharp chuckle when asked what her co-parenting relationship is like with her former fiancé, rapper Future.
The Grammy-winning singer, 37, is mother to Future Zahir, nine, with Future, 39; as well as daughter Sienna, six, and son Win, three, with her husband, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, 34.
The Texas-born singer – who is currently expecting her fourth child – sat down with Thembi Mawema of The Shade Room this week.
Mawema asked The Level Up artist about Future: “What is co-parenting like for you guys?”
Ciara let out a long laugh, to which Mawema said, “I’m dead,” and Ciara reassured her, “You’re amazing.”

Future has been publicly critical of Ciara in the past, claiming she alienated their son; and has also incorporated insults towards Wilson into his songs.
In early 2016, he posted a series of tweets calling Ciara a “b****,” prompting him to “go through lawyers to see the baby future”; and claimed he paid her $15,000 in monthly child support.

“Ciara has said that Future is using the situation to promote his music by staying in the press and using her name,” the insider said, adding, “Ciara has never stopped him from seeing his child.”

Earlier this week, Ciara showed off a little of her growing baby bump in a pair of photos shared to her Instagram Story on Sunday.
The hitmaker stared directly at the camera as she posed for the first of her photos, which included the upper part of her stomach.
The artist, who recently appeared in a music video for her new song Forever, was later joined by her husband Wilson for another selfie, and she added a text image to the photo that read “mama and dada.”
Ciara wore a low-cut dress with white sleeves that fell over her baby bump as she posed for the photos.
The 1.2 Step singer added numerous elements of shine to her look with various jewelry.
Her beautiful, dark brown hair remained quite wavy and fell to her shoulders.
Wilson opted for a beige sweater and a single, sparkling necklace as he spent time with his wife.

Ciara spoke about parenthood during an interview with PopSugarwhere she stated that she had decided to become a devoted mother after welcoming her first child.
‘From day one, of course, I always wanted to love my babies as best I could; that never changes,” she said.
The hitmaker did admit that she had become much more relaxed as a parent over the years.
She said: ‘I think when you have baby number one you are so picky about everything. You’re like, “Oh, you dropped that, I have to rinse it like crazy,” and now it’s like, “Okay, we have the five-second rule.”
