Christy Turlington’s daughter Grace Burns, 19, proves she’s inherited her mother’s supermodel genes as she makes her Milan Fashion Week debut in a sheer floral dress
She is the daughter of legendary supermodel Christy Turlington.
It was no surprise that Grace Burns held her own on the catwalk when she made her Milan Fashion Week debut on Thursday.
Strutting her stuff down the catwalk, the 19-year-old model looked sensational in a floral one-shoulder dress at the Alberta Ferretti show.
Daring to go braless, the sheer garment clung to her incredible figure as she walked past the other models.
A pair of strappy heels boosted her model frame, while her raven locks were slicked back to show off her stunning facial features.
Seeing double: Grace channeled her supermodel mother (right, in 1993) as she made her Milan Fashion Week debut at the Alberta Ferretti show on Thursday
Christy, 54, shares Grace with actor husband Edward Burns, 55. The couple are also parents to 17-year-old son Finn Burns.
Grace made her runway debut in June when she attended the LuisaViaRoma & British Vogue Runway Icons show at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence.
Before that, she worked for fashion designer Caroline Herrera in April.
Grace posted images on her Instagram page of herself holding up a Herrera bag during a Georgina Millet shoot.
The rising star cleverly expressed her gratitude for modeling in her caption, “Grateful beyond words to have had the privilege and opportunity to be a part of this experience!
‘All the love in the world to every divine human who made this possible!!!!!!!! Tears of love and love and more love!!!! Xxxxxxx.”
Christy became one of the most successful models in history thanks to her cover girl looks and enviable figure, but in Apple TV+ docuseries The Super Models she revealed how she was punished for a slight fluctuation in her weight at the age of 26.
She told of the shocking moment she was removed from a catwalk show in Paris because she had gained ‘a bit of weight’ after quitting smoking.

“I remember I was in Paris for couture in 1996 and I gained a little weight because I had stopped smoking, and… I got released from a show,” the mother of two recalls.
But instead of feeling pressured to diet or change her fitness regimen, Christy was inspired to step away from working as a full-time model and turn her attention to education.
She explained, “I remember feeling like, ‘Well, I’m not going to let this make me feel bad. I just made a decision for myself, which is probably one of the best decisions I’ve made.
“And so maybe this is the right time. I don’t want to subject myself to any more.”
The supermodel went on to study at New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Comparative Religion and Eastern Philosophy.
The model opened up about her university experience, claiming these were the “most important years of my life.”
She said: “Those were some of the most important years of my life because that’s when I was able to really invest in myself and who my future self would be.
‘I just found so much inspiration to do so many other things. It was such an incredible four years.”
Learned from the best! It wasn’t surprising that Grace was a pro on the catwalk as she is the daughter of legendary supermodel Christy (pictured in October)
