Christy Turlington, 55, shares very rare photo with her two children Grace, 20, and Finn, 18, and husband Ed Burns, 56, as she says she is an ’empty nester’
Christy Turlington shared a very rare image with both her children and her husband, filmmaker Ed Burns, 56.
The cover model has been married to Burns since 2003 and they are the parents of two children, Grace, 20, and Finn, 18.
The Vogue model attended the high school graduation of her youngest child, Finn.
The beauty reflected in her lengthy caption that she was an empty nester. ‘I’m officially an empty nester today!’ she began when friend Linda Evangelista pressed the like button.
‘What do I think about it? Just ask me in three months, after my baby has left our house and settled into his dorm across the country.”

She said she is grateful they have reached this milestone.
“Every day is a gift, especially when we are in good health and when we feel safe and well supported,” the star – who is part of the new Marc Jacobs campaign – shared.
‘I now know that life and our experiences are fleeting and that it is really important to make meaningful connections in this life.
“I want to thank everyone who has loved and supported my child through this wonderful journey so far,” the Versace model added.
“You all made it more fun and rewarding every step of the way. So here’s to everything that’s outside the nest, and here’s to embracing as much of it as we can, for as long as we can, from here.
“Congratulations, Finn & LREI Class of ’24! We are proud to know you and to claim you as one of us. #NoFinnNoFun #Chapman28 .”
Paulina Porizkova commented, “Congratulations, we’re keeping those babies alive until they can fly!”
A week ago, the cover girl was spotted outside the ladies’ luncheon of the Chanel Tribeca Festival in New York City.
The San Francisco native – who was discovered in Miami at the age of 14 – wore a cream top with a chic long ivory buttoned woven jacket.
Cindy Crawford’s girlfriend also wore distressed blue jeans with stylish seams on the sides and brown mini pumps with a black toe.

The star looked tanned and happy as she walked into lunch alone. In her hands she had a purse, glasses and what appeared to be a gift from Chanel.
Also at the daytime event were Katie Holmes, Ashley Benson, Joey King and Kerry Washington.
This comes after she revealed she has never had plastic surgery.
She told Vogue in 2023 that going under the knife was out of the question.
“I’ve always been consistent in my thoughts on this, and I think I still believe in it because I’ve said it so many times,” she said.
‘But those are also my values.’
Turlington also does not use injectables such as Botox.
In April, she was featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. She showed off her age-defying high fashion.
Discussing her approach to modeling these days, Christy said, “I can do a day here and there. But then, for two days, I thought, “Too much. It’s too much.”
‘I feel lucky to have this option [to model]. It’s still my livelihood.’
After rising to fame as one of the ‘original supermodels’ of the 1990s, she explained the contrasts of shows – for fashion giants such as Chanel, Versace and Valentino – during her heyday with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
She enjoyed it: ‘The shows always felt a bit like chaos. I think we as models are going to hold some of that energy and tension, and a lot of those spaces are not peaceful.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Christy revealed that a nude photo taken during her heyday was circulated among her 18-year-old son’s high school peers when she attended one of his basketball games.
The stunner, 55, looked nothing short of sensational in the new shoot, which saw her show off her age-defying looks by going braless in a number of looks.
She heartbreakingly confessed that ‘everything’ [she] wanted to do was disappear” when she learned that the other team had bullied her son, Finn Burns, into passing on her nude photo from an old shoot.
She said: ‘I was surprised it hadn’t happened before. But at the same time I thought, ‘This is so rude!’
The catwalk legend opened up about the incident during her recent photoshoot for the cover of Harper’s Bazaarwhat marks her 14th collaboration with the magazine.
Noting that the school later became involved in the scandal, she added: “I’m not ashamed of anything. Regretting things is a waste of time.’
Christy famously posed nude in a memorable 1995 photo shoot for Vogue Magazine.

In the recent interview, the supermodel shared that it was her child who suggested that she disable comments on her Instagram posts.
‘I have no comment on it. A few years ago my daughter told me to do that. I’m really glad I don’t [have to see the comments],’ she said.
‘I can’t say I’m Teflon. I’m sure if I read something that was sharp or mean, it would hurt me the same way. But I also try not to pay so much attention to it.’
She admitted that she is a “shy person,” as she said, referring to her photo shoots, “I like a quiet set. When I hear dance music or techno music, I want to run away.”
‘Being someone who is quiet and studies people, I think I’ve learned how not to stand out. My mother never said, “Oh, this is how you’re going to protect yourself.” I think I just really paid attention, honestly,” she added.
