Christine Quinn is reportedly ‘planning’ to end her marriage of almost five years to husband Christian Richard.

“Christine Quinn is planning to leave Christian,” a source said We weekly. “She plans to file for divorce.”

DailyMail.com has contacted Quinn’s representatives for comment.

It comes after Richard, 45, was arrested on Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon after he threw a bag of glass at his wife, 35, but hit their toddler son.

He was released shortly afterwards and returned to his and Quinn’s Hollywood Hills estate on Wednesday evening, where police arrested him for a second time.

An LAPD spokesperson told DailyMail.com that police arrived at the home at 10:48 p.m. and the suspect was arrested for violating a restraining order obtained the day before. He posted $30,000 bail and his court date is set for 4/11.”

According to LA County sheriff’s records, Richard posted his second $30,000 bond several hours after the arrest around 4:45 a.m. on Thursday.

During the day on Wednesday, police with guns drawn swept the couple’s property in what an LAPD spokesperson described as a “search” to ensure the home was safe. Ultimately they concluded that there was ‘no problem’.

Quinn and her son were reportedly not on the property but are currently staying in a separate “secure location,” one said Page six insider.

In typical cases, searches occur because someone has called the police to check whether there may be active threats in a particular location.

A source claims that in this case, Quinn was not the person who called authorities to her home.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness to the search claimed police could be heard saying, “Come out with your hands up.”

By Wednesday evening, Richard had been released and police were seen arriving again at his and Quinn’s home in the Hollywood Hills.

Photos obtained by DailyMail.com show an officer emerging from a police SUV parked outside the property.

Richard, who married the ex Selling Sunset star in 2019, was led away in handcuffs by officers on Tuesday afternoon, while barefoot and wearing only a bathrobe, after the incident involving the couple’s only child, Christian Georges Dumontet, two.

The retired tech entrepreneur looked somber as he was accosted by officers on the sidewalk outside his Hollywood Hills home – before being placed in a police car.

There were also several police cars parked in front of the couple’s home. Quinn had not been seen at the time of the arrest.

“The suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.”

TMZ has confirmed that Christian and Christine’s son were taken to the hospital by ambulance on Tuesday, with Christine by his side.

The publication reports that Quinn was offered an emergency protective order against Richard, which she accepted and will be in effect for seven days.

Christine and Christian met through a mutual friend before he proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2019.

The reality star told Rush in 2020 about their first date: “He and I had a great steak dinner and got to know each other, and we hit it off right away.

“He’s everything I ever wanted,” she said. “And then my friend said, ‘He’s looking for a house too,’ and I thought: double bonus.”

The couple tied the knot in December 2019 in an unconventional Gothic wedding with a winter wonderland theme at a cathedral in downtown Los Angeles.

“I have never conformed to the status quo or societal expectations,” she said.

About the topic of the theme, Quinn explained People on forgoing a typical white wedding dress: ‘I’ve always enjoyed being daring, different and trend-setting. I’ve always wanted to get married in a black wedding dress and I’m so happy my dream came true.’

The star previously revealed she was ‘very ill on her wedding day’ and has since discovered she has coronavirus.

To talk with Goss chats, she said: ‘I was really, really sick on my wedding day. I actually had what I now know was corona.’

‘At the end of December I became very ill and we were traveling. I was sick for about a month when we were filming.

‘I couldn’t even have a bachelor party, I was so disappointed about that. That time was such a high, but at the same time a low point.’

Richard had a successful career in software engineering and studied at the prestigious MIT university.

He created US online food ordering service Foodler, which he later sold to competitor GrubHub for $51 million in 2017, allowing him to retire at just 38 years old.

He is worth $20 million while Christine is worth $2 million.

Christine left Selling Sunset at the end of season five, a move that her former boss Jason Oppenheim, 45, agreed to.

Throughout the first five seasons, viewers watched Quinn sell luxury and exclusive homes and properties and get involved in drama with her costars.

“I think people were tired of seeing that dynamic continue season after season,” Oppenheim told Page Six.

“So I think it certainly brought a breath of fresh air to the office and to the show.”

In her final season, Christine was accused of trying to bribe a client.

And although she denied the allegations, Oppenheim just wants to put the drama and controversy behind her.

“It’s not the kind of drama I enjoyed as a professional real estate agent,” he said.

He added: ‘I was not happy with the kind of issues that were brought to my attention. I think it’s run its course.’
