Christine McGuinness looks in high spirits as she flashes her toned midriff in sports bra in Cheshire after ‘enlisting help of “pitbull” celebrity lawyer for divorce from ex Paddy’

Christine McGuinness looked in very good spirits as she stepped out from Cheshire on Sunday after reportedly enlisting the help of a ‘pit bull’ famous divorce lawyer.

The television personality, 35, and her estranged husband Paddy McGuinness, 50, announced in July 2022 that they had split after 11 years of marriage.

The amicable former couple still live together in their family home to co-parent their children, twins Felicity and Leo, 10, and daughter Penelope, seven – who all have autism.

Christine is said to be determined to stay in the £4million home with her children and is fighting for a multi-million pound divorce settlement.

And she seemed pleased with her progress this weekend as she beamed while out and about in Wilmslow.

The model showed off her ample cleavage and glanced at her toned midriff in a black sports bra.

She added matching black leggings and white sneakers and threw on a bomber jacket over it.

Christine carried a Louis Vuitton gym bag and styled her blonde hair in neat curls while wearing a full face of flawless makeup.

She has reportedly hired the services of attorney Catherine Bedford to assist her in her divorce proceedings.

Catherine, 52, has had some big clients in the past, including Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner who she helped through her divorce from American pop star Joe Jonas.

It is also claimed she helped Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong get a £31million payout in their divorce.

Catherine, who has been branded a ‘pit bull’ in the US media, will represent Christine in London on Tuesday, it is claimed.

A source said The sun: ‘Christine really wanted to work with a woman during her divorce and Catherine is one of the best in the business.

‘Christine wants to stay in the house where she has lived as a family for years. She has put many hours of love, care and attention into it.

“It would be heartbreaking if, after all this time, she had to leave the property and uproot her life.”

Catherine, a senior partner at London law firm Harbottle and Lewis, was also involved in royal ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s three-year legal battle with his ex-wife Princess Haya bint Hussein.

Harbottle and Lewis’s website states: ‘Depending on the needs of each client, Catherine’s approach is tailor-made – whether it is successful negotiation outside the court process or tough litigation within it.’

According to the website, partners charge £535 per hour, but it is likely that Catherine, who was named Family Lawyer of the Year in 2022, will charge more.

It comes after it was reported that Christine was left ‘devastated’ after finding out her estranged Paddy is making a ‘mockumentary about their divorce’.

According to The suna friend close to Christine has revealed she found out about Paddy’s plan after thinking about it online.

‘She is completely devastated by the divorce and we are genuinely concerned about her.

‘Paddy didn’t tell her about the pilot. The fact that she, like everyone else, had to find out online that he did this broke her even more.”

Meanwhile, Christine is “trying to carve out her own career” in the wake of the split, while continuing to focus on supporting their three children.

She told me Mirror: ‘My main focus for 2024 will be on my children, they are always my main focus.

‘Then work, work for myself and try to have a career so that I can always take care of my children and give them a future that they want and support them and their needs for as long as possible. That’s really where I am now.

‘I want to try to be more present, which I am very good at with my children. When I’m with the kids, I’m my most authentic self, and I’m just me. I’m just at home with the kids.

‘I put my phone away and don’t go on social media. I don’t even talk to friends. I am literally going to spend that time with my children, because I now really see that they are only small for a short while.’
